Go forth - between Lukla and Phak Ding, Nepal The monuments and inscribed rocks guide the way through this Everest Base Camp trek. There are also a lot of dogs which are rather friendly, and may walk miles upon miles with their humans. We had one follow us from Namche all the way to Gorak Shep (later in the trek).

Delayed - Kathmandu Airport, Nepal

Waiting for our plane to depart from Kathmandu to Lukla. Per usual in the monsoon season, a deep fog will settle into Lukla making flying prohibitive for safety reasons. These propeller planes fly perilously close to the 4000m tall mountains, and with only eye-sight to guide the small margins of error, it makes sense to delay/cancel flights. Oh - and the runway at Lukla airport is an upward sloping ramp, so landing requires a special license and training.

Thanks thanks :)I normally shoot in jpg for street + landscapes, then edit in Lightroom. I only shoot raw when working with portraits as I have limited chances to get it right, and it gives me more flexibility in post.Hope that helps!
