I’ve been feeling... anxious, shall we say. For today. But it was all lovely and I couldn’t be happier.

I was having those I’m bored moments. But we left for California the next day and now I’m totally fine. At least for the time being. Not exactly excited to return to classes this week.

Summer was so awesome. I got to spend the summer working with kids and they were great. We made forts, model air planes, played fairy tale and I was a knight then a prince. Some of the kids really liked the horses they brought in too.

She’s been trying to help take care of me financially since I stopped using the checking account she set up for me when I came here in 2014.

I suppose. It was a gift from my mamita. She sent me a lot of different gift cards after I lost my job, mainly because she didn’t want me worried about not bringing in money.

What was it that kept you from accepting the gift?

Someone clearly wanted you to spoil yourself at the spa. It’s your gift, and you should be the one to enjoy it.

[PM] You don’t need to thank me, or Professor Anderson, for that matter. We’re thinking about talking to your parents about getting you back here for some remedial summer classes, to boost your grades. How does that sound?
