Hello! It’s Jine.
It’s been a while but I’ve come again to deliver you a message.
How have you been? It’s been a long time, but I saw your support and cheers fill up the space I left behind, and I gained strength and spent this time becoming stronger and healthier!
While I was by myself I had lots of thoughts and worries go through my head, but to have Miracles here still supporting me unchangingly, and my fellow Oh My Girl members who’ve waited for me, it has been a really great strength for me!
To our Miracles who have poured me with overwhelming love, allowing me to happily live my dream, I’m so thankful and sorry… and to my fellow members who spent so much time with me… with the suddenness of events they still told me everything’s okay, and they worried about me, and continued to stay strong as Oh My Girl while waiting for the day we would be 8 again, again I am so thankful and so sorry…
To all of you, I need to say that I am thankful and sorry. And to my special Oh My Girl members who would have been surprised by my decision, they actually consoled me more and supported me, so I want to say thank you and sorry.
Because this is something I’ve dreamed of and chased for so long, I really wanted to do better. But unlike my heart, I faced challenges physically and mentally… During my time off I was able to look more within myself, and after many days of thinking, I have come to this decision…
I’m greeting you after such a long time, but I think this will become my last greeting to you as Oh My Girl’s Jine… I will go back to being Shin Hye Jin, and with a new dream, I hope to experience and endure many things that come at this age.
It hurts me to know that many Miracles will feel upset about this news, like how I feel as well, but the time I’ve spent with Miracles as an Oh My Girl member will remain as the most unforgettable and special experiences and memories to me. I hope that I, Oh My Girl’s second oldest, CCTV, lovely vocalist Jine, can remain in our Miracles’ memories as a bright, healthy! and positive image! For the challenges I will face moving forward, I will recall your support and it will become a great strength for me!
Our Oh My Girl! Hyojung, Mihyun, Shiah, Seunghee, Jiho, Yoobin, and Yewon… Carrying the name Oh My Girl, each of you hold your unique colour to sustain Oh My Girl, and you really shine. Also, it’s amazing to see Miracles support that kind of Oh My Girl with love, and grow together with you! With every line sung by Oh My Girl, and the harmonic sound of support coming from Miracles, it is so touching and almost induces tears… Moving forward, I may feel sad thinking about the many memories that I miss, but in my heart you are the greatest, and I will always support you!
Though I am no longer Oh My Girl’s Jine, I hope you can support me on my first steps in this new journey. And please always give Oh My Girl your warm support and love…! Lastly, to our Oh My Girl members and Miracle, my family, friends, and WM family, who walked with me up to this point! Thank you all so much…
