There was only one way a man and a woman could get to know one another—but Ringabel knew better to keep his mouth shut. “Honestly, the only thought that roamed my mind was nothing but innocent.” He laughed quietly to himself.

"But seriously, I was referring to… something more the along the lines of… well anything, that would convey friends? Like getting this beverage everyone seems to be talking about… coffee, was it? Hm, I heard it’s quite bitter but I’m willing to try it out."

"Or may be we could go on… a study date? Yes, that whole studying together and laughing about experiences we had in class?" Normally, if it were up to him—which it usually is—he skip right to the touching bits. But it were Edea he was speaking with, and he was willing to take it nice and slowly if it’d mean that she’d… well, adopt a better mindset of him.

Whatever he’d say or did would get him on her bad side. An unavoidable fact. “Er… I was kidding! Yes, I only jest! Of course a gentleman like myself wouldn’t… fantasize about a beautiful lady. No, no! No fantasies of such a… case… has ever dared cross my mind!”

"I can assure you, your exclusive parts have not been resident to my mind at all!"

"You'd actually want to drink this beverage with me? This..coffee?" she might've heard the name once or twice now that she thought about it and it would look rather..bad if she went to try it for herself at that little cafe on campus. She's weighing in her options right about now..to go with Ringabel soon..or to not go. "I've heard about it as well, you can put..different things into it or so they say. I suppose I could try going with you, maybe."

"But if you even dare to look at another woman, I'll strike you where you stand." there'd be none of that hogwash if she were out with him as friends. Just...friends yes. That's all there was to them. They were just friends. So when he mentioned the word date, she was rather quick to deny it being so. "A study date? You mean as friends. We are just friends. That is all."

"And I'd hope that you'll keep your dirty thoughts to a minimum. As I don't believe you're completely innocent inside of your mind." she takes Ise no Kami now and points it directly at him from where she sits on her bed. "I'm not joking around Ringabel."

Well, it was a start—she choosing to trust him; but the choice was only made thereafter she read the journal, that sentence. Hoping she’d take his word for it was clearly wishful thinking; nevertheless he was still pleased. She were not leaving him and that’s all he’d wanted. ”Music to my ears! You might think this a terrible idea now Edea, but I see it as a new venture to get to know each other better. An event I’ve been looking forward to for quite some time now. I… won’t let you regret this choice.”

"… Er… and well, imagine my surprise when I saw your name printed in the book. With you on the premises, I couldn’t have settle for any other girl!" Waking up to her beautiful face every morning was a dream come true. That face that he’d become so accustomed to. The face of the only girl who openly rejects him every single time. Having any other girl as a roommate wouldn’t have been as interesting.

Getting clear of her notion, he stepped back slightly away from her. “Then you give me leave? To fantasize about you, I mean?”

"Then fantasize about you, I shall!" He strutted over to his bedside and reclined back on the mattress. "Yes, otherwise—you have my word. I’ll keep to my side of the room, this I promise."

"I'd like to know your idea of..getting to know each other, as it does not sound very inviting nor innocent." she sighed, running a hand through her hair before walking over to her bed and taking a seat, her gaze turned to the ground. Just what had she gotten herself into by coming here with this...flirt. A huff and a flip of her hair now. She's had just about enough of you already, you fool.

His compliments weren't getting him anywhere with her anytime soon. She wasn't like any of the other women he might've been able to pull before they'd met and even while they journeyed together. Edea would have none of that. No..physical touching would go on between them unless it was completely necessary. An accidental bump of the arm would be even enough to set her off at this point. "Settle for no other girl? A lie. You'd have been fine with anyone else had they been beautiful."

At the mention of fantasizing about her, her anger multiplied tenfold. "Mrgrgr...just. Stop talking. You should really stop talking, Ringabel or else it won't end well for you." her fists now clenched again, she was ready to throw a punch if he didn't comply. Though she'd be surprised if he actually took her seriously as she said this.

"I have no problem causing any type of harm to you if you touch me unwantedly."

Ah. How he knew his sweet Edea so well. He was flattered that she thought he had planned this ordeal, and he would like to see her squirm a bit more, but if it’s at the cost of losing her as a roommate or worse, forever, then he would try his best to make her believe otherwise.

"I swear to you, Edea, I had nothing to do with it!" He waved his arms submissively. He knew how… frightful she was when angered, so it would be wise to play it safe. "Look, I was not aware of your plans to attend this academy." A lie. Hopefully one she wouldn’t catch him on.

"And about the room… I had only checked the journal after I was already assign to it. I heard I was to share a room with a girl, and it piqued my interest." He lifted the book from his bed and started to flip through the pages. "See, it reads right here—‘Ringabel is to share a room with Edea Lee’." He had been honest about this though, that’s what it said.

He shut the journal, quickly threw it on his bed and made his way over to her. “… And lastly, about sharing beds—the thought is rather exhilarating and it does get me excited.” He paused for a moment at the thought. “… But I am a gentleman above all else. A lady’s wishes—no—your wishes, Edea, surpass mine. I wouldn’t ask anything disrespectful of your character, I give you my word.”

"… If you were to comply though, know that I wouldn’t be able to hold back…" He’d most likely regret saying this in the near future.

That mysterious book of his and it's way of knowing what is to come in the future has rubbed her the wrong way more times than she could count. From the first time they met, to even now. Anyone'd think he was crazy or possessed even for having a book of such type. As she listened to him speak, she rubbed her temples. He was already working her nerves and it hadn't even been five minutes. "A likely story, but I'll pretend that I believe you for now."

"Of course sharing a room with a girl piqued your interest. You're disgusting like that, Ringabel," a scoff now, "Let me have a look at that.." she leans closer now and just like he had said, the words of him sharing a room with her are neatly printed there. She couldn't run away from him now, as it was destined by fate for them to be here together. Her frown is slowly going away..but it's still there. A hand is now away from her temple and propped onto her hip.

As he neared her, she backed against the door, accidentally closing it now. Her hands in front of her chest ready to push him away if he got any closer. "I'll..choose to trust you. But only because I haven't the time go through such trouble just to get rid of you when fate says we should be together like this." a sigh now, she surrenders. There's no defying that book of his.

And now he's gone and ruined whatever short moment they could've had by making that last comment. She roughly pushes him away now, a look of disdain on her face. "Really? Wouldn't be able to hold back? I'd never comply to you, Ringabel. Only in your dreams."

Upon seeing her walk in, Ringabel swiftly rose from his bedstead. Ah, Edea—there she is, right on cue. He had been expecting her, though he’d never openly admit it to her, as she’d probably convince herself that he played a hand in all of this. You see, the journal had told him everything; that she would arrive the same day he would and that they would share a room together. He was more than happy about the arrangement of course, much to her dismay. Sharing a room with her of all people, fate really was a mysterious fascination.

"Your room?" Acting had to have been one of his strong suits, that’s certain. "Hm. Well, that’s odd—this is my room. Room 415." He promptly held up a paper containing useful information. His classes, a map of the campus, his dorm room number. Yes, all of that was present.

A small, but rather eye catching smirk played across his lips. “Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but if we’re both stating that these are our accommodations… doesn’t that make us—what’s the word I’m looking for? Ah, yes… bedfellows?”

He was thoroughly enjoying himself. She was reluctant now, but all the more sweeter when she finally gives in to him.

The smile on her face was soon replaced with a look of disgust. Roomed with this womanizer? No, it must be some sort of mistake. The registration office hadn't mentioned rooming with a male and they most certainly hadn't said that it'd be Ringabel. This was set up. He had to have had a hand in this, he must've pulled one of his ticks and seduced some woman of high authority, that's all there is to it.

Her hand still lay on the doorknob as she scowled at him now. Bedfellows? Not with him. She'd be going right down to the office to see if they could do something about this. She refused to be roomed with him. "You had a hand in this." she hissed, eyebrows furrowed and her hands now clenched.

"You knew right from the start that I was going to be here, you womanizer. As if I'd share a room with you." right about now she wished she could wipe that smirk right off of his face. The thought of sharing a room with this man wasn't very pleasing. Although they were comrades, Edea knew the amnesic had his ways with women and she'd not fall into his trap. "I'm not falling for any of your tricks nor am I going to share a bed with you if you offer. I'm going to get this changed as soon as possible unless you give me good enough reason not to."

"Schmow, you don’t gotta get all riled up. What was I supposed to call ya’ before you introduced yourself?" He could have said said dude. Or man. She should consider herself lucky. "Which, by the way, the name’s Finn! …Look it up? You can look up all the kind’sa candy?"

"....Schmow? What on earth..." Finn the way you talk is hurting her head.

"Finn...I'll be sure to keep a note of that. As for the candy..uh. I can't exactly, but I can ask a friend of mine. He possesses a book of sorts that might have some information on these candies if they do exist."

He hadn’t even gotten a chance to meet even half the population before all the new arrivals. Someone better get a move on.

Arriving in a new environment and adjusting to it is always hard, the blond knew this of couse. She was carrying what few belongings she had to her assigned room now. Room...415 was it? Ah, yes. It was jut around the corner from where she was walking then. She saw a food establishment on campus and made a note of going to visit it later, she needed to try to cuisine here sooner or later and she'd rather it be sooner. She hadn't seen hide nor hair of Agnes, Tiz, or Ringabel yet. But perhaps she was speaking too soon..the others might well be on their way and knowing Ringabel, he's probably found his way into some trouble or he's probably here already.

But enough thinking! She's standing in front of her room now, key in hand as she proceeds to unlock the door and open it. Her boots clicking on the pavement as she stepped in. Not too shabby of a room! Two beds-- wait..two beds? Would she be sharing this room with somebody? Well, she hoped it was at least a female she could get along with. Her eyes now moved to the second bed and to her surprise, there was Ringabel..right there. How did she miss him? We just don't know. "Ah, Ringabel!" she exclaimed, "I wasn't expecting to see yooooou here so soon!"
