2016 ladies and gentlemen.

166 days so far. I'm NOT from the United States but.. 179 mass shootings in the "land of the free". 3136 killed. That averages to about 19 killed everyday from the 1st of January 2016 to the 14th of June 2016. 19 killed almost everyday, who were probably waiting to go home, get some sleep and again begin their daily routine with their lives and cherished ones. 19 killed almost everyday for not knowing there would be an armed person who would end them that day. 19 killed for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. 19 people who got probably thought the last thing they'd see before sleeping that night would be their loved ones or their favourite show or pets, not the barrel of a gun being pointed at them putting them to sleep permanently. 19 people killed almost everyday because the gun laws didn't prevent these heartless people from getting their filthy hands on these weapons. 19 people killed almost everyday just for EXISTING in front of that bastard who pulled that goddamned trigger. 19 people KILLED ALMOST EVERYDAY FOR 166 DAYS who DESERVED TO LIVE A FULL LIFE. 19 people who will never have a peaceful death cuz you only die once right? And atleast 179 wretched bastards who are still breathing. Atleast 179 people who took away the citizens of OUR WORLD before they took away citizens of the United States this year alone. Do not dare blame these losses faced by millions and this loss faced by the world altogether on mental illness, religion, caste, color, creed, ethnicity, homophobia, or anything that generalizes human beings because for one these are not human beings. Only blame the lenience and ignorance that resulted in such a tragedy. Only blame your willingness to give these people the right to own firearms without strict background checks. Only blame your naiveness and stupidity for trusting such things to never happen because it was inevitable. Make the world a better place. This is a plea not only to the government of the country I've mentioned before. This is a plea to every individual, social group, or government body to help protect the innocent from being stolen away from their loved ones for no crime they committed. I'm not a citizen of a resident of the States but I am deeply saddened by these acts of heartless cowardice. I hope people realize this before its too late. Because frankly I don't want to grow into an adult in a world that is imploding into nothingness and heartlessness. I don't want to grow up into a world where I don't know who might show up in front of me and shoot me while I'm walking home from either a casual stroll in the park or while I'm walking home to my friends and family after finishing my daily work, that night. I want to walk home while being surrounded by pleasant faces and peace not gun shots and blood splattered roads. I want to walk home surrounded by houses full of laughing people and happy kids. I want to walk home knowing I will see my closest friends and family again that night before going to bed. To all PEOPLE who read this, please reblog or repost because this issue isn't something to be addressed only by one or two countries but the world as a whole to make it a better place for us and our future generations to live in.
