James Maguire — known as Curly to his old friend’s Goldie and Lispy, former Whitgift student and proud Derry Girl.

John Samson — known as Goldie. The son of Dr. J. Samson II. An Easyjet pilot and part–time DJ. Future dad who’s absolutely shitting himself, former Whitgift student.

Jack Brown — known as Lispy since he smashed his front teeth out in second year, current cricket coach at Merstham Cricket Club, former Whitgift student and Surrey county cricketer.

Rhys Lewis — known as Taffy. The new kid at Whitgift and James’s mortal enemy, current marketing executive at microsoft who thinks James is his mate.

Mr. Hill — Whitgift’s head of geography. Loves having scone crumbs in his knitted vest.

Frances Maguire — known as Frannie, Fran, or Fra. The middle child who wanted to go on a date for her birthday. Future Derry LGFA star, divorcée and window smasher (in no particular order).

Sally — Owner of the Telegraph pub in Selhurst. Kathy’s confidant and James’s former nanny.

Kathy Maguire — Former barmaid at the Telegraph,currently a fashion designer who’s sewing a communion dresses for a special girl and needs her measurements.

Erin Quinn — the voice of reason, a full–time robe wearer and part–time writer.

Camila — former Miss Essex 2012, John’s baby mama.

Julie Sinclair — former BRIT school student and James’s first love, current boutique owner.

Comments from the teacher: Frances needs to participate more in class in order for her to succeed. She is a well–liked pupil who does well in small group tasks particularly in chemistry. For the future, Frances needs to work on her tardiness. She should also think before answering a question. Frances struggles in drama which leads to her having emotional outbursts. She needs to learn how to control her emotions in unfamiliar/uncomfortable settings — I believe this is key for Frances to have a successful future.
