When i was a reference climber for @magmidt I learned to try to avoid matching and bumping if possible... I ended up doing both on this problem! Hovever it took me to the 25th place on the moonboard ranking in Norway! It feels amazing to be able to climb on the #moonboard at @visitprestegarden. Specially now, during winter, When it is hard to find an opening to boulder outdoor. Took a walk up the mountain next to @visitprestegarden, Flakstatinden, where you get a view of the prototype mountain, Stortinden! The sun never showed its face, but it was still a nice trip! -Don’t stay inside when all hope is out! It es great to show him some of the local rocks and se How easy it was for him to Flash anything below 8! The stoke was real! This morning, like the last few mornings, we had some orca visitors in the fjord, just next our house in Reine. Today they where a bit closer so I asked @slumars and Vår if We should take out the boat and pay our new friends a visit. They said yes. And we had one hell of an experience :) Stoked, overwhelmed, happy and scared all at once! I can’t think of anything that I have so little natural talent in, as surfing. I feel like I am totally new to it every time! Fortunately the beach in Flakstad, only 5 min walk from @visitprestegarden, is perfect for beginners! Today I had a peak in my surfing career when I managed to turn - both ways! I also saw a dolphin while surfing, a tourist filmed me with his drone and it looked pretty epic! ✅ The old man an the sea! Never underestimate the value of a good crew! First time I tried this problem I was alone. It didn’t work out at all. I got scared, I lost confidence in myself and I gave up. I went surfing instead. Today I went back with one of my mentors @eom_moe and one of his mentors @eivindumberto. A few encouraging words, some tips from more experienced boulderers and some cheers from the crew - and in the end, what first felt impossible felt, ok, perhaps not easy, but at least not super hard! . . .
