My Family Vacation Experience
I still remember it like it was yesterday, i was 12 years old at the time and very excited for the trip my family planned. As we were waiting for the plane to board my anxiety level rose because at the time it was my first time riding a plane and went to another place which is Cebu. Where we stayed for a night before riding a ferry to Bohol where a few relatives of ours lived.
When dawn broke we were wide awake, took a refreshing shower and ate breakfast before going to a nearby port where we rode a ferry to Bohol which is AWESOME. When we arrived at the port in Bohol we were greeted by the locals with a warm and joyful smile. But as we were getting on the van i was shocked of the news that my mother told me where we were gonna stay because one of our relatives is out of town and they lend us their house as we were staying in Bohol which is so cool like we have a rest house or something similar. After we unpacked our luggage from the van we ate lunch and drove to the nearby preserve where u can look at some tarsierās. But along the way you can see the man made forest full of bamboo trees like in the movies where its so scenic. For the second day of our trip we went to the iconic āChocolate Hillsā where at the top u can make a wish by the well and take a few cool photos where u can use the hills as a cool background. The last day in Bohol was the most memorable for me because we took a boat to a nearby island where you can feed fish with bread or crackers, snorkel or just enjoy the beach. Going back from that same island was the sketchy part because of the rising waves that made our boat rock back and forth making my mother and the otherās uneasy but it was still fun i tell you. Our last day in Bohol finally came and made us say goodbye to the place we called home during our stay, right before we took the ferry back to Cebu i said my farewell to Bohol but i also said that i cherished the memories Bohol gave me.
Going back to Cebu we checked in a hotel and stayed for the night because we were still exhausted from the adventures we had in Bohol. During our stay in Cebu we went to a couple tourist spots like Magellans Cross, Fort San Pedro, Taoist Temple, and a couple churches. For the last day we went to a lechon restaurant for lunch because Cebu is told to have one of the tastiest lechons in the Philippines. It was also some sort of celebration for our successful in Cebu and Bohol. After we ate we went shopping at a nearby mall to buy some āPasalubongā or some momento to commemorate our trip. The day after we went to the airport early in the morning to take a plane back to Davao where we call our official HOME.
Thanks for reading sorry for being too long. ;)
