السلام عليكم I was hoping if you could recommend any dua'a or Surah to say/read when you're going through a hard time in university. I always have anxiety whenever submitting something or presenting for my classes, it is becoming troublesome to cope with. I have always put my faith in god and keep thinking that whatever happens it's allah's way for making me stronger or showing me a better path. I accept the struggles that come in life but it's the anxiety that I cannot cope with. -1-

waalaikumussalaam warahmatullahi wabarakatu. it’s no burden at all, dear. :) here are my favorite duaas for surviving student life:

اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَا أَنْتَAllahumma rahmataka arju fala takilni ila nafsi tarfata ‘aynin wa aslih li sha’ni kullahu la ilaha ila anta.o Allah, it is Your mercy that i yearn for, so do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for a blink of an eye, and rectify for me all of my affairs. none has the right to be worshiped except You.

اللهُمَّ لا سَهْلَ إلا مَا جَعَلتَهُ سَهْلا وَ أنتَ تَجْعَلُ الحزْنَ إذا شِئْتَ سَهْلا Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja’altahu sahla, wa anta taj-’alul hazna idha shi’ta sahla.o Allah! there is nothing easy except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if it be Your will.

and this is generally very effective for ease in every difficulty:

لا إلهَ إلا أنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّالِمِيْنَlaa ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaddhalimeen.there is no deity but You. glory be to You! verily, i have been among the wrongdoers.
