Trachyandra tortilis (Asparagales - Xanthorrhoeaceae) is a small bulbous plant native to South Africa’s “Namaqualand” region.

This is one of the bulbous species with strap-like leaves that tend to become spirally twisted, tightly coiled or crisped.
