Ugh. The invites aren’t even back from the printer’s yet, but somebody couldn’t hold their water over here.

So, I guess I may as well just say about it now, before it all gets out of hand and a bunch of hooligans show up – so, this Saturday, I will be hosting the first summer beach party! Definitely not the last, of course, and not the best, that comes later, but even so, I’d say it’s going to be at least the best party of the year so far. And, well, just about everyone is invited! … Everyone except the Outlanders, of course, but you all knew that.

So? Who’s gonna be there, who’s excited?

Oh boy, do I agree!  Those boys are a handful, even when they’re fast asleep!  I haven’t felt this tired since… Well, since the last time they visited!

Retail therapy?!  No, absolutely not.  Can’t you find some other form of rest and relaxation that doesn’t involve emptying our bank account?

Ugh, tell me about it. I love them, but they're just so... boyish. I think we need a vacation for a while, just the two of us, as a way to recover. Doesn't that sound fun?

Why not? I won't empty the bank account, don't be silly Donald! ... only some of it. For a very good purpose.

Besides, you have your boat to help you relax, why can't I have this? You wouldn't deny me a shopping spree with my best friend, would you?

I mean, having Huey, Dewey and Louie over for the week is great, but having to do that full time? Uh-uh, not in a million years. It's going to take me months to recover from this week along, good grief.
