Something stabbed Hermione’s heart as her eyes darted over Draco’s body.His broad shoulders were hunched,and it looked as if he hadn’t eaten in days. Hermione realized with another pang that this was probably true.

"I’m sorry," Draco said sincerely. "I was angry back then but I shouldn’t have said those hurtful things to you.I let my father get the best of me. I should have known he would try to split us up but I was just too blind to see the truth."

Hermione let out a sigh.”I’ve never cheated on you,Draco.Why on earth would I? If we want to make this relationship work,you have to trust me.”

"I know.I just can’t risk losing you again," Draco said softly.

They both stood in silence for a while.Their eyes locked, brown and grey,complete opposites yet fulfilling each other perfectly.

"I want to be with you,Granger. " he whispered. "I have to be with you.”
