My Last Post ♥
Hello my lovely followers, like 'every beautiful thing has an end' we have come to the end of our semester so we have come to the end of our blog for now. I am not sure that I will use this blog again in my life, I hope I will but if I don’t use I can say that I had so much fun.
And I want mention a few points about the philosophy statement that I think about being a teacher. If you remember I wrote a post about it before and I want state that my ideas are changed or not throughout the semester. I can’t say that my ideas changed so much. Because the idea which I defend was ‘ A teacher should have all the features to teach without technology.’ And I still think the same. But we are in the 21st century and we all have possibility to use technology even in our daily lives, it is also inevitable for us. And teacher should be aware of the innovations that come with time. And they should adapt themselves to these innovations. SoI still think like that.
I can say that this course taught me a lot. When I was in the beginning of this course, writing a blog post was about 2-3 hours. But now, I can write a 300 word-post in 1 hour. I see this as a development. And what I like about this course is that it made homeworks more fun. And it gave me so much ideas about how to make my lessons more enjoyable for my students in the future. And I want to make a little suggestion about the course homewroks were fun but they were so much :) They could have been less. But it’s ok.
And that’s it. I hope I see you guys again maybe with my students I hope :) But till that time comes I am going to miss you and writing blogs. Take care of yourselves♥!!!
Say Hello to RSS ♥
Hi friends, we are together in another post! And in this post we are going to talk about RSS, the blogs I followed and my favorite blog. Firstly, let’s descrbe RSS. Briefly, RSS means ‘Rich Site Summary’ and it provides you the easiness of not checking one by one every blog you follow. RSS is an app which you can easily download to your mobile phone and computer. There is more than one RSS Readers, but I use FeedReader.
This is how FeedReader looks like and in the left you can see the blogs I uploaded to FeedReader. When you first download the FeedReader you will see this page but of course there won’t be any blogs. Firstly, copy the link of the website you want to follow and then turn back to FeedReader you just need to click file(dosya) button in the top left. And then click new, and then it will otomatically paste the link of the website which you coppied. And that’s it.
Here you can see the blogs I followed and Secret Life of an English Teacher is my favorite.
Why do I like this blog so much? Because it is about me, it is about what will do for the rest of my life. And this blof shares her real life advices about being an English teacher. And I find the things she shares very real, I think I love this blog because I feel like it prepares me for future, for the things I may encounter.
In this picture you can see some of the posts she shared. I hope you will like that blog too.
Yeah, that’s it I think. And if I don’t do anything with this blog this will be my last post :( It was really good and fun to have a blog like this. I hope I will use it again one day. But until that time comes, farewell...

Web 2.0 Tools ♥
Hello again everyone, in today’s post we are going to talk about web 2.0 tools and I am going to show you my own personal infographic that I created about my top 5 web 2.0 tool.
Social media sites such as Instagram and Twitter are some of the examples of Web 2.0 tools. So we can say that all of us use some Web 2.0 tools in our daily life but we just don’t realize. We can use Web 2.0 tools to enhance learning and teaching. A Web 2.0 website allows users to interact and collaborate with each other through social media.
And for this post we were supposed to create an infographic which is composed of our 4-6 favorite Web 2.0 tools. And I choosed Pinterest, LinkedIn, Animoto, Skype and Edmodo. And by doing this I used the website called Canva.
That’s all for today’s post. Au revoir!
By clicking here you can see the infographic that I created.
P.S: By clicking here you can see the source of the picture that I used in this post.
Our Very First Birdy Magazine♥
Another task, another enjoyable project. And now I present you our very first magazine ‘The Cicikuş’. The parrot in the cover page is my partner Enver Atahan Işıklı’s bird. So we were asked to create an poster for a book we read or create a magazine cover.
Again, it was a fun task because we were allowed to use our unlimited imagination through creating a magazine cover page.
Is this project good for my future students?
Of course!!! I really liked this project. To be honest, this is my favorite project for this course. Because it allows you to use your imagination in a free way. An dyou don’t even feel like you are doing a homework. I hope you like the cover. I think it’s very cute and funny. I think that’s all for now. Ta-Ta!

Digital Storytelling Project
Hello everyone, we are together in another project. And for this project we were supposed to create a story or make a tutorial for something. Me and my pair Enver Atahan Işıklı choosed to make a tutorial and we showed you ‘’How to play Seven Nation Army on guitar?’’.
By clicking here you can take a look at our tutorial.
If you wanna know about how did the process go, I can say I don’t have a specific feeling about this project. Because Enver is the one who plays guitar, I just wanted to make my partner happy by using guitar as a project toppic, and also I thought it would be fun to use an instrument for a project. Then we decided to teach a song called Seven Nation Army on guitar.
As A Teacher Would I Give A Similar Project To My Students In The Future?
Yes, of course I would use these type of projects in my future classes. Because I think projects like this makes classroom atmosphere more fun and bearable for students. And more having fun students means more efficient learning for me.
I think that’s all for today’s task. Thank you for your patience♥

The content is teaching English to ELT students with its with grammar, listening, writing, speaking, reading and vocabulary. And helping English teachers in some points like jobs, articles, forums, training and management.
Firstly, when you enter the website you will encounter with a page which is composed of learning section and teaching section. If you choose learning section, you will see different kinds of lessons, games, quizzes, forums, videos, song and even jokes about English. And I think all of these facilities can ease and make your English learning more fun.
And if you you choose teaching section, you will see more professional content which is based of articles, forums, worksheet maker, ESL handouts etc. And also you can see some resources for English teachers and get advice about English teaching books.

What Is This PADLET???
Firstly, let’s describe Padlet;
Padlet is an application which enables you to create a wall to share any kind of information with everybody. In Padlet you can also use multimedia resources. You can add images, videos, links and more.
And this week we are supposed to create a Padlet wall about a global problem such as climate change, refugees etc.
And I’m working on this project with my friends because it is supposed to be group project.
We chose ‘’Endangered Species’’ topic because it is a very important topic we all should care about.
By clicking here you can check out out Padlet wall.
What Are My Thoughts About Padlet?
I think it was really fun to study with Padlet. Becuse, firstly I liked the design of cite. It gives you informations but doesn’t bother you. And working with a group of people was very enjoyable. Because a group of people means a group of creative brain, and it made our project much more enjoyable.
Another thing about Padlet is although it can give you so much information with multimedia resources it never looks that much full. It doesn’t scare you at first sight.
Do I Recommend Padlet?
Yeah I do recommend Padlet. Because it has a potential to make lessons more fun like a blog. And especially in the 21st century, I think all teachers and the ones who is going to be a teacher should use Padlet in their lessons.
That’s it that I’m mentioning about this project. See you in another project guys!♥
I’m leaving the links of my groupmates’ blogs. So you can have a look at their blogs. Bye♥
