jane moriarty is short and soft, there is something almost childish in her big dark eyes and in the way her lips curl into an innocent smile while she’s talking about murder. jane moriarty is warm and her touches are so delicate that it’s easy to forget that the fingers that are tracing patterns on her naked hip have killed hundreds of people, even if not directly. they should be covered in blood and yet, when sherlock takes her hand and licks her finger, they don’t carry the metallic flavor that sometimes she tastes in their kisses.

jane laughs and her whole face brightens. sherlock can’t help but think of her as some sort of beautiful angel of death.
