Hey there VM fic club! Can you recommend a fic for me? I have a friend who’s been having a really hard time recently and I want to send her a fic to cheer her up. HOWEVER 1. I do not watch Veronica Mars ( it’s on my list I swear!) 2. I don’t know that she has ever read fan fiction before. She just said to me “I wish I could go on a date with Logan” and I I thought a fluffy date fic could really cheer her up. Can you recommend something to give her serotonin boost?Nothing above a T rating, please!

Our fandom has several authors we turn to when we need fluff and one of those is LisaWolfe80. We recommend that your friend start with Marshmallow and Moonlight, but anything from her body of work would give your friend the needed boost!
For a short one-shot date night fic try Lagniappe by TheLastGoodGoldfish.
We also recommend anything by Irma66, a good place to start is with A Change of Circumstance: Logan Echolls' life changed the day his mom climbed up on the rail of the Coronado Bridge. Help can come from surprising places.
Another option would be the works by CubbieGirl1723. A good place to start is A New Path: Maybe it’s time to forge a new path. Again. One that she actually wants to stay on. Logan and Veronica, after season 3 breakup, meet at a Christmas party.
Beach Casual by Steenbeans is a great emergency friend date to a wedding fic that is a lot of fun!
Don’t You Forget About Me by Ultra: After finding Trina instead of his mother at the hotel (in ‘Ruskie Business’), Logan catches a ride home with Veronica and their friendship is re-formed on the night of the Eighties dance. From there on, everything changes.
Dash Together by Nevertothethird: AU from 1x06, "Return of the Kane." Veronica has a bad day. A day which is made even worse when she wakes up and discovers she has huge gaps in her memory, friends she doesn't remember making, and future plans she's not sure she wants.
Sweet Invention by Marshmellow Bobcat (or anything by this fandom favorite author!)
