Well, the first post of 2017 is my motivation to shift some timber. Seeing this photo that my best friend took last night at their New Year's Eve gathering has really hit home to me that I need to do something about my weight. I have a big family wedding coming up at the end of May, so that is my goal to be at least 2 dresses sizes down. I'm doing this for me and my dream of starting a family. 👍🏼💕

Love is ...

Well, where do I start. Love, right now, is what is pulling us through. Without each other, I think we'd both be going under. We've just found out that I have PCOS which, when trying for a baby, isn't great news. We've had tests and scans etc, so now it's a waiting game as to what happens next. It may seem like nothing to some readers, especially as it is 'so common' as everyone keeps telling me. But I stand by the 'it's easy to say when it's not happening to you' mantra. Cancer is common, it doesn't mean it's no big deal when it's happening to you or your family. This is happening to me, to us. It's us who had to sit and be told conceiving may be hard. With my husband by my side, this won't be as hard as my overactive imagination is telling me. Until next time 💕

So, last weekend, I spent the weekend celebrating this fabulous lady's hen do. She's set to marry my father-in-law on the 3rd of December and I know that myself and my husband couldn't be happier. The Mulrooney's have been through an awful time and this lady has come in like a ray of sunshine. She spreads festive, Christmassy joy all year round and she's the perfect addition to this crazy family. I couldn't think of anyone more perfect for my father-in-law 💕
