My Review From the child that just wanted someone to love and want him… to the adult who seems to lose everyone around him, Max is one of the most tortured characters I’ve read in a long time. He has a great capacity to love, and wants to care for those around him. Laura felt like his first love, and leaving for the Army felt like a betrayal to her. This book had very real emotions coming out of me. We all look back on memories like that. Kelsey has a very real way of writing those emotions. I wish I had the second book. The ending has me feeling so unsettled. Until book two…

What a rollercoaster of emotions! I loved this one. The slow burn was so slow… but dang it was well worth it. Every time he said “Hellcat”. Swoon. His parents… yall I was dying. This one was just good from beginning til the end.

I loathe the day I ran smack dab into the hard chest of Alister Howl, Avix University’s second-string quarterback. The moment he smiled my way I should’ve run. And, well, I did … straight into his bed.

That was before I learned he was nothing but a liar. He ruined everything before it even began.

My Review Oh my goodness! This author always draws me into her stories. I loved our baby of the family, Tate! His heart was open to love, and I loved how he cared for family. He was willing to fill in the spot with the Raptors, and he saw Aurora’s vision. I just loved her. The age gap for them was hard on her, but he never wavered. I just loved this series! Highly recommend!

My Review The danger… the back and forth between them. I couldn’t put this one down. Sure they were playing the game, but I couldn’t wait to find out what game Allegra was playing with Coen.

This book was filled with drama and so steamy you need a cold shower. I was in tears at the end. Allegra was caught in a situation that for her hurt either way it played out. I love the Hawkes, and this one, was so good!

My Review Oh My Goodness! Hold on to your seats! This one killed me. I was begging Sloane please tell him! Cristian was such a good dad. Elio was precious. I loved that kid. This one was dark, and had a lot of abuse. Sloane was sick about it. By the time she started breaking down about what the cartel wanted her to do, and her mom… I just wanted her to talk. This one had me thinking about the abuse, and how it really could be happening to so many people. So check trigger warnings! This one had me on edge. It was so well written. I fell in love with Cristian and Elio. Cristian and his family are so welcoming. I wanted to be a part of this family. Whew… this one… SO GOOD!

My Review I loved this one. We got to go back to some of my favorite characters. Caleb is a fixer, and all he wants is for those closest to him to be happy. I loved the twins, and their relationship to the older couple near them. Halle stepped up to become the twins guardian when their mother went to jail. This was a story with so many different characters, and they melded so well to form a family. I loved it, and the shocker toward the end… I did not expect that. Caleb & Halle were hot, and the angst… was off the charts.

My Review I loved this one! The story and the descriptive scenes put you right there with the characters! Dalton was young, but you could tell he was right where he thought he should be. Camille lost her husband, and was struggling to live on the mountain they shared together. Dalton steps in to help her. Send in some bad people threatening their home. It’s a fight, and they won’t back down. I loved the little ones & Pops too!
