When my best friend suggests interviewing for a traveling nanny position with some tennis star I think she’s joking. It’s too good to be true. The pay is more than I could dream of. I’d get to travel the world. There don’t seem to be any cons.

Happy Release Day to Rule Breakers Fall Hardest(The Boys #6) ✨
Rule Breakers Fall Hardest by Micalea Smeltzer is now live!
Once upon a time, Daire Hendricks was my childhood crush. He was always there, saving me from his annoying brothers. He was my rock, my safe place from my overbearing family.
Until he wasn’t.
Imagine my annoyance when we end up at the same university and I have to see his smug, too-handsome-for-his-own-good face all over campus.
Every time we cross paths, we spew hateful words at each other, so imagine my surprise when he seeks me out and utters the most surprising question.
“Marry me?”
He needs my help, and his solution is marriage. It’s a pretty big ask, but somehow, I find myself saying yes. We might hate each other now, but the benefits of this arrangement are worth it.
But what neither of us expects, is when playing house starts to feel a little too real.
Falling for each other was never part of the plan, but you know what they say about the best laid plans?
They often go awry.

It was quite a long time of waiting for Daire and Rosie’s story after Jude’s. If you didn’t know, I did enjoy Jude and Millie’s story so much (Broken Boys Can’t Love), and reading and finishing this one makes me want to reread and experience the angsty love story of Jude and Millie again.
The writing of Rule Breakers Falll Hardest is one that I liked so much. I just love how it’s gripping, really fits right in the story, and another thing is that it kept me in my toes from the start until the end— waiting for those ANGSTY ANGSTY chapters.
I would say this novel isn’t that angsty, more like 40% angsty (soft angsty) and 60% cute, fun, and wholesome in a sense.
The characters were likeable as well, especially the interaction. I’m glad to see previous characters reappearing, especially Jude. I also enjoyed that there are character developments here, although I’m still mad at Rosie’s mom. I want to hug and just hide Rosie from everyone as well as Bettie. Gosh, I’m so worried about these 2.
The romance development was good, in my opinion, I enjoyed their interaction and the chemistry and tension here, although I hope the tension was more intense. There wasn’t much of grovelling in Daire’s part, I would have loved to see him grovel more, to be honest. The love scene was well written, as well, I did like it.
That being said, although I was thankful that it wasn’t that angsty, I had these little voices in my head wishing it was more angsty angsty just like how angsty Broken Boys Can’t Love is.
Anyway, I can’t really wait for Luke and Bettie’s story. I’m gonna start counting days now.
If you like these tropes, you definitely should check this one out ✨️
°sports romance (hockey)
°childhood friends to enemies to lovers
°marriage of inconvenience
°college romance
°well written romance

Pretty Little Mistake by Micalea Smeltzer is now live!
Lennon Wells and Beckham Sullivan should have been perfect for each other. Both vulnerable, both striving to please difficult families, and both broken by the past. Going from friends to lovers seemed inevitable. So did a bad ending. They thought—they hoped—they’d never see each other again.
Years later, bad luck or fate, Lennon and Beckham find themselves working for the same magazine. The wounds are still raw, but the chemistry is there. Then they’re forced to work together on a project. Some things never change, and all it takes is one impetuous night. One mistake. And Lennon discovers she’s pregnant.
With more in common than they ever had before, Lennon and Beckham are going to be in each other’s lives for a long time now, whether they like it or not. And they’re starting to. If only they can break from the generational traumas that hold tight and take a shot at something they never expected: a second chance.

I’ve learned that not everything is what it seems. If you start to look too close, you uncover things people don’t want you to see. It’s why I hide. It’s why no one knows the real me. But he sees me. He sees the darkness in my heart but he’s not afraid, because he’s like me. They say opposites attract, but we’re proof that like-and-like are a far more potent combination. Novalee Clarke is…
