imagine this AU — it’s the roaring 20s, there’s a group of young men (clearly wealthy) trying to impress sadie adler, the governor’s only daughter, with their gunslinging skills by trying to see who can shoot as many bottles down but are obvs failing. out of nowhere, six gunshots are fired, all the bottles are broken, and in walks dutch van der linde’s youngest and greatest protégé, arthur morgan (guns smoking with a smirk *you know the one* on his face)

imagine this, an AU where arthur and sadie meet as youngsters in new austin while he’s there helping out dutch and hosea. they meet up every couple of years, fall in love, but dance around each other with arthur not wanting to put her in danger and sadie not wanting to take away arthur from the life she thinks he wants to live. but it ends with arthur leaving the gang and choosing sadie and they live happily ever after with their children and dogs.
