Hello again, my journal

This stay-at-home situation has given me a lot of time to finish my To-do-list Yey! so what now? Feeling lost, when around in circles then came back... writing always gives me peace of mind. After 20 years I’m here again.

But what would i write about, A lot happened in the pass 20 year, I got married and had 2 kids, went to fashion school became a freelance designer, travelled a little, adopted a dog and list goes on. Let me find a nice story that is worthy of your time.. It’s out there somewhere, I hope I find it. Wish me luck

Understanding Bespoke

Most of us think that whenever we hear the word “Bespoke” is that its expensive, yes that it’s true… and most of us will also say why do we need to have a bespoke make clothing while there is already nice and affordable clothes available off the rack or online… no hassle of visiting the Tailor shop, go to multiple fittings and the torture of waiting on how the suit will turn out in the end. Yup, most of us don’t have that kind of patience.

I will try to explain in my own understanding what Bespoke means so here goes... The term Bespoke derived from the word “Bespeak” which means, to speak for something. Its actually a British term that describes a customized process of making clothes specifically for person based on his body type and style. It involves creating the suit from ground up, it begins by consulting a good and well experience tailor and discuss what exactly you need or want, Believe me, A good tailor is the only one who can understand you on what are you trying to achieve in terms of style and comfort (so put your trust and faith them).

Let put it this way, Bespoke made suit is like building your own dream house, its start with vision then you will hire a good architect, engineers and contractor, in this case hire a good tailor, they re the one who guide you on choosing the right fabric and materials, taking the person’s body measurement, fitting and countless revisions, expect that it won’t be perfect the first time (hey! we all unique body type) Its true Bespoke takes time. But is it really worth it? the time and money? Well, I believe it is, of course all of us wants to look like James Bond, but the really point here is that Bespoke suit is timeless which means it never goes out of style but most importantly it is special in a way that shows the true beauty and appeal of your body, it gives you the freedom to wear what you want from your own vision. A good bespoke suit makes you feel empowered and proud. Admittedly its very personal because you also put your own creativity into it and for that reason alone that is what a makes it so priceless.
