Meet the newest member of my family. We named the kitten SKY because of here cloudy white/grey fur and here sky-blue eyes. She has moved in with us in our apartment in Antwerp since late May and has grown quite a bit by now, but when I found these pictures from the first day she was with us my heart melted again.

The little sweetheart is a Scottish Straight with blue eyes. Here mom is a Scottish Fold and here father a British Shorthair.

On a random evening in may I shot this sunset at the river Schelde in Antwerp. I always forget to get out and shoot sunsets ... Should do it more often.

Last weekend we visited a small airshow at a local airfield. We arrived pretty late that day and only one hour before heavy rainfall, so most of the planes were leaving when we arrived. Luckily the T-28 TROJAN (photo 5-8). Besides this plane there where several planes and classic cars on display.

A friend let me use his Canon 70-200 f2.8 L lens, which is a really nice lens! However I found it a little too short for photographing planes that are flying by. I also made some rookie mistakes such as using a too high shutterspeed for prop planes, freezing the propeller.
