Gravity Falls Fighting Game

So, while watching the video from the 2014 comic con panel, Alex said that he would love to make a Gravity Falls fighting game. Just a simple game where characters just fight against each other.

That got me thinking. 

What if, when choosing Bill as your fighter, you have to choose one of the other characters as well. This is because Bill needs to possess a body to interact with the physical world. So basically, you would be using the other character’s fighting moves and physical appearance with a twist. Their eyes would be Bills’ and their fighting moves would have a bit of a Bill flare. But then, his big special move, he drags the opponent into the Mind Scape, where you actually fight with Bill and his own special moves. It’s timed and the opponent can still fight back, but Bill is powerful. However, once the time is over, there is consequence. 

So, the best way to use Bill would be the know how the other characters fight. 

Of course, I will play this fighting game.

I guess I will put out this disclaimer.

Yes, this is still an RP account, kind of. At the moment, my muse is off doing his own thing and not responding to any of my calls. 

However, I don’t want to just leave this in limbo, so I am going to use this account as kind of an anything kind of account. Basically, whatever fan thing I am into, if I want to post something about it, I will do it here. Now, don’t think you will suddenly get flooded by random things. If the idea or theory or whatever is chewing at me, then I will post it, other than that, nothing.

Hey i saw your bill cipher post, i like your theory but wanted to add that in the AMA that Alex did in character as Bill he said that he was limited to the restraints of the body he possessed, so since Dipper was at the brink of exhaustion then alternatively all that was to keep himself awake. Which is hilarious

[[Inflicting pain to stay awake, that is rather hilarious and an alternate way to think about it.

However, I would dispute that in saying that at the end of the episode, it’s rather obvious that Bill doesn’t understand how the human body works. So the idea of exhaustion and having to stay awake would be lost on him.

I completely understand being limited by the body he possessed but I don’t think it has to do with being tired. I think that has to do with strength and stamina and stuff like that. Dipper can’t chop down a tree with ease or wrestle a bear, he’s not strong enough, so Bipper wouldn’t be able to do that either, limiting what he can do.  

However, the concept of keeping the body alive and functioning properly through sleeping and eating is utterly lost on Bill since he is a being of pure energy with no weaknesses. The drinking of the soda was not because he was thirsty, it was a novelty he’s seen humans do, though most of it went into his eyes. (ouch)

To me, what was keeping the body going was force of will (or should I say force of Bill) and pure adrenaline as a result of the pain and the racing mind. And while that does somewhat support the idea that pain was keeping him awake, to me, it was not on purpose, it was a by product. I still think Bill just enjoyed the pain. ]]

Bill Cipher’s love of Pain

So, this is an ooc post, I just had to write it out. I am sure that this has already been very much observed, in fact it’s on his wiki page, but since I’ve just gotten into Gravity Falls, I just wanted to speak about it myself. So if you are interested in my thoughts, continue to read:

I just rewatched “Sock Opera” and I found myself fascinated by how much Bill loves pain. All the stuff he does while in Dipper’s body:

And that is just what we see. Judging from Dipper’s reaction upon returning to his body, I assume that Bill inflicted more pain off screen. 

Sure there was a fight between Bipper and Mabel, but it was more like a little wrestling that wouldn’t cause as much pain as Dipper is feeling. I feel like much of it came from falling down the stairs. From then on, I was sure that Bill was in constant pain and I think that is why he was always smiling while in Dipper’s body. 

I highly doubt that was because he wanted to cause Dipper pain in the dead, it seriously looked like Bill just really likes feeling pain. That is super twisted. Even with everything twisted that goes on in this wonderful “kids” show, a character who gets real joy out of both externally and self inflicted pain is super dark.

Which then makes me ponder if Bill, in his true form, can actually feel anything. Perhaps that is why he enjoys pain so much when he is in a mortal body. The body is super sensitive when in pain, amplifying the sense of touch a feeling. Having no real ability to feel, wouldn’t you want to make the most of it? 

Geez, this is such an amazing show. It really makes you think.

I don’t think so. I believe there is still 999 happy haunts, in fact, I think with the fact he was taken out back in the day, it was only 998 haunts all this time. The Disney Blog says that he is “reappearing”, almost like he was there the whole time hiding out. So, what it seems to be is that there is still room for 1000.... if there are any volunteers.

So very VERY excited for this. I can’t to see it.

Like a lot of people, I’m pretty sure the temple is a fusion of Rose, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl. Just imagine seeing her on the battlefield though.

The steady sound of the heart monitor and the ventilation system was the only sound in the closed hospital room. All sorts machine surrounded the bed were an old woman lay. From her look, she had lived a long and exciting life but her body had grown weak and now she was here. Her family had stepped out of the room, leaving her there. For the past number of days, she had been sleeping mostly and at the moment, her eyes were closed. 

From a darker corner, a tall figure suddenly appeared and stepped toward the bed, taking the seat next to it. Anubis sat back in the chair and looked at the bed for a moment before he pat her hand. “Hey there kiddo...” he spoke as if he was still speaking to a child. 

This voice got a response and she used much of her energy to glance toward the aspect of death that now sat next to her bed. Anubis gave her a cocky smile. “Well, don’t you look like a prune,” he joked. The attempted glare made him chuckle but for it turned into a look of fondness. 

After another moment, he got to his feet and leaned over one of his best friends. “I’ll be here when you wake up,” he spoke, emphasizing himself, attempting to convey that one of Thanatos’s wraiths wouldn’t be showing up. He then kissed her on the forehead, as he did, the heart monitor flatlined. “We have so many adventures ahead of us,” he whispered to her then stepped back from the bed as the hospital staff rushed into the room, paying him no attention. 

All their focus was on the smiling woman.

Anubis just stood back and waited for his friend, a smile of anticipation on his face.
