Waited what felt like months for this dress to finally be affordable for me.  I love it so much and i've noticed it's pretty easy to put together with anything.  I've also never really had a use for this shawl so i'm glad I have finally found something to wear it with.

...and this is how it starts

We decided our first post should give you all a brief sense of who we are & what we like to fill our time with. 

Marisa: Helllo! Let me start be saying how genuinely excited I am to start up this blog with Rachel.  Rachel and I have been best friends for years and have both always had a similar, yet slightly different taste in fashion, so this is definitely exciting for the both of us.  Let me start with telling you guys a little bit about myself.  I am 20 years old, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.  I have a massive interest in music, which also happens to be my major in college.  I haven't 100% decided yet, but I'm thinking about minoring in photography because that is another one of my major interests.  What I would say I spend most of my free time doing is going to shows, writing music, hanging out and going on adventures with friends.  I am currently in a post-alternative band and also have some fun music side projects on the side.  My band is called "Dante" and we just recently released our debut EP and have been playing as many shows as we can.  I will put the links below for my photography, band, and even my lookbook which I update as frequently as I can.  As I said before, I am really excited to share this blogging experience with you guys and Rachel!

Rachel: Hellooo, I'm Rachel (der). I'm studying journalism at a school out here in LA. Although I doubt there is a musically talented bone in my body, it's always found a way to shape my life and the people I surround myself with. With my degree I'm hoping to stay out of the depressing news journalism we all know and [don't] love & work on a radio show or somewhere that will allow me to work with artists I respect and admire... And, let's be real, find attractive. 

I have an obsession with European culture, focusing mainly on the UK. I lived and studied in London last year and it was the best year of my life. Londoners seem to have the best taste in everything, whether it be music or clothes... And, let's be real, they're attractive.
