Lillian is a beta wolf in Taye Rivera's pack, and takes great pride in being the Alpha's mate. Reed is less than pleased with the two of them for trying to "help" him.
"Rivera!" came a scream from the door. Lillian Evans pulled away from her mate, scowling. She knew that voice well; it was Reed. However, she knew that Reed could smell the pure arousal coming from the room, and that he knew it was Lillian and Taye's special time together. Well, for the first time in a long time, it was their special time, and he was interrupting. She didn't like that.
Getting up off of Taye's lap, she turned around to see Reed standing in front of them, looking like a wet hen. His hair was disheveled, his eyes were glowing their golden-yellow color. Taye must've seen, too, because he got up and stood kind of in front of Lillian, as if waiting for an attack. Suddenly, Lillian became very worried. If Reed turned, someone would be getting hurt, and Lillian wasn't going to be the one to sit around and let her boys get hurt.
"Reed!" she yelled, and the boy's eyes turned back to their normal blue as his gaze turned to her. He still look vicious, but at least he wasn't about to turn. "What's wrong with you, Reed? You look ready to kill someone."
"I am ready to kill someone," he replied, before his eyes quickly turned golden as he began to stride towards Taye. "You turned her. You turned Alice! My Alice!" And the fog in the room was suddenly lifted. Taye'd done a very wrong thing... but it's not like he hadn't done something like it before.
All Lillian could see was Taye smirk, before a pure laugh came from his lips. "Oh, Hammond, I thought you were actually mad about something. You're a tricky one, you are," he said, turning to Lillian. "Isn't he just the funniest thing? No wonder you adore him so m-"
Suddenly, Reed had him pinned against a wall, claws at his neck. "Alice was innocent, and gorgeous, and human. Why? I just was to know why you would turn something so... so..."
Taye pushed him off, but Reed paid him no attention. The brave, strong beta she knew had been reduced to a mere puppy, glancing up at Taye. And Taye stared down at him, the bond between the two making it hard to stay entirely mad. "Reed... Lillian had mentioned something about you breaking up with Alice because you couldn't properly mate with her. She couldn't be your mate if she were a human." He brushed himself off, and helped Reed off of the ground. "So, I turned her. Now the problem's solved." A goofy grin spread across the Alpha's face, and Lillian couldn't help but smile at the taller boy.
Reed, on the other hand, looked disgusted. "No. Problem not solved. Now, I have to deal with my ex-girlfriend being in a pack with me, and she probably hates me for not telling her, because I told her some other things that weren't so pretty about me."
At this point, Lillian couldn't help but step it. "Reed, Alice is fine with it. Calm down. In fact, the bite helped improve her. She was nearly at genius IQ before she was turned. And now? 168. Well above genius level. Also, she has unparalleled senses, and she's already healed from the bite. Quite a resilient creature, actually."
Reed turned to her, a look of near disbelief on his face as his eyes changed back to normal. "She was perfect before... She didn't need improving. But... if she's okay with it-"
"Which she is," Taye finished, glancing at the boy. "Now, if you excuse me, I was a little busy with my mate before you came in here, and I'd quite like to finish what I started."
Lillian had never been so happy to see Reed leave.

Reed Alexander Hammond! You are not a shitty person. A shitty person would've, and I'm being honest here because she's fit, taken Alice, fucked her to his heart's content, then fucked her over. A shitty person wouldn't be taking care of his little brothers when they're technically not his concern, but his parents. A shitty person wouldn't break up with a girl for her own good.... they'd do it because they were done with her.
… She’d said before that she’d had a crush on you since her third fucking year, Reed. She knew precisely who you were, and don’t even fucking try to tell me that your sake doesn’t matter. It always matters! Did she or did she not make you happy, Reed? Did you love her? Did you want to keep her? You matter, Reed!
It needs to be over. For her own good. I need it to be the end. I need to to be final. I need her to let go of me, and I swear to god don’t even start telling me that’s not possible. She can. She will.. She just needs time..
... If you honestly believe that you're that easy to get over, then you're really dumb. Besides, from the way she's been talking about you, you're the sun, the moon, and the stars to her. Besides, you're telling me that you're going to let her go for her sake? What about you?
... Well, you obviously don't want it to be over, otherwise you wouldn't beat yourself up over it. Besides, Longbottom's a big girl, and she'll survive... though I did hear a nasty rumor about her trying to pierce her own tongue.
She loves you... you know what, right? And, from the way you're treating yourself, you love her, too. I know what love looks like, Reed. Just... don't think you've lost her just yet.
