the beta nodded her head yes right away, staring at the horse with uncertainty. “i have a fear of heights,” sora confessed softly, biting her lower lip in order to mask her embarrassment. carefully she placed her hand on the horse’s neck, gently petting the animal. “i fell off a horse once when i was a pup. ever since that day i decided it might be best to admire them from afar, but… i wouldn’t mind facing my fears if you’re with me.” sora stood a bit straighter, giving shiloh a determined look. however, the look in her eyes quickly faltered as she stared at the horse again. “how are we supposed to get on this horse?”
Shiloh listens to the other wolf with an air of sympathy about her-- There had been many times in her youth where she’d been too cocky on the back of a horse and taken a tumble, it can be a humbling experience. Terrifying even, especially at a young age. “Alright then, no need to fear this time. Between the horse and I you’re surrounded by experience-- Only good vibes from here on out.” The beta chuckles at her determination, happy to see it. “Wait here a moment and I’ll get a stool. It’ll be easier for you.” She comes back with a small wooden stool to give Sora a boost up on the horse. “Here you go. Then when you’re on the saddle scoot as close to the horn as possible and there’ll be enough room for me to hop on after.”
