Gods i love his massive fangs. His inner canines are so long.
It's really just so nice we're constantly introduced to the concept of the variety in the yautja population. The details in the individuals and clans are awesome.... We really need to see the girls at some point.
I wanted to try this thing with monthly fanart polls. For now the polls and suggestions are only awaible on my telegram, but I'm planning to make this thing exclusive for my patreon followers. But it needs time, since there's not so many people yet, so I'm like testing it! ^^
Raja has found out that Vic is a boneless but grabby octopus in her sleep. He can't move his head because she's definitely got hold of at least some of his predlocks and probably won't let go until she wakes.
He also doesn't understand how she can put up with what he suspects is a retrofitted storageroom with a bunk that can only just fit her 6ft frame.
Raja is 8ft.
He has already hit his head 7 times.
(Not set on earth- rather the place they both met where she's part of the ambassadorial team who are in placement.)
In Raja and Vic's world, what would it be like to have yautja students attending schools with humans?
at the point of the story involving Raja and Vic, yautja are still not hugely integrated at a public level, it's still very political!
So at most the only yautja students may be the children of ambassadors, and they would be attending prestigious non public schools, or being educated by yautja with integration for getting used to humans i'd guess. Raja's situation is unique for now, he is in an office placement because they couldnt let him be employed elsewhere away from the diplomatic situation he is in, but also he couldn't be employed in an actual ambassadorial position. So he is a low level office worker, with political eyes on him. He's part of the first line of integration on earth, but humans had already begun to be allowed to visit certain yautja settlement. Because of the difference in lifetime, the humans are running into the 2nd generation of ambassador turnover, while the yautja are still on the original staff.
I kind of imagine the office environment and the collegue bonds translate a little over into what happens when you have one individual that stands out so much in a classroom environment. For Raja, apart from a few hiccups, the staff he shares the office with are old school from the past ambassadorial days with some new ones being trained up with them. Raja himself is pretty human chill, so it's a both way reciprocal thing. Also human pack bonding drags him in.
