Shyne Moor chrous clip
A short chorus video made for me by a creative artist that knows what I attend to.
Shyne Moor Excerpt
I've often valued how truthful a musician is more than how skillful they are. Liars are repelling. Shyne was one of those I took as genuine. When exploring a beat to bring to the Maurdian elbum, this was the first to trigger some residual fiery emotions. Like most older influential tunes I listen to, I adapt the emotional trigger into something more helpful. Shining more. I also value respecognizing the origin, hence I spelt shine as Shyne. I also like double meanings, so I use more and Moor throughout.
Give Em Trust
A Brief verse I like a lot. Genuine, gradually energy building, fun, real talk. To elaborate on what was mentioned before the rhyme begins, hope is not a word in my vocabulary. Trust certainly is. Although I haven't heard the original, I based my rhyme on the idea of speaking with the intent of being noticed by those similar. Those that act on and with purpose. Those that present, activate, awaken and trigger us that do. Simple fun strong emanated vibrations.
Pro Bono
When I was given the title Pro Bono to write to, I was pleased. Pleased because I generally state the value in attending to what Is instead of Nots. Nots are often knots that stagnate or hinder flow, while Is's or things that are, identify direction and indicate a state of being. Hence, "Speaking Pro is best..."
Occupation Excerpt
On this track, the three of us attended to different aspects relating to the word occupation. One addressed ones' civil state, social identity and indigenous heredity being occupied. Another addressed ones' mental state, physical temple and ethical senses being occupied. I addressed our time, and attention being occupied.
Stayn Sharp
From the mixtape Features Volume One. This is the Okeedoke beat, another BCC track. Being tricked via misdirection. My response to that is to stay Shivy. Since shivy was not informed at the time of this track, Stayn Sharp was the talks. Stay aware to ensure we clock any Okeedoke intentions.
Inquisition Excerpt
When I was given this track name and beat, I reflected on what I presently knew and researched to remember + learn more. As usual, I rhymed mixing what I know with what I've lived.
Hurricane
Track 2 from the mixtape Features Volume One.
This beat was from a lyrical track written by Starang Wondah. BCC, OGC, Fab 5 vibes. I first thought about speech, words, language and versions of(dialects). I am gradually learning others and began with those points in the meditation.
LockJaw
A verse written after months of nothing being written. Sometimes I speak much, sometimes little to not at all. My first time hearing this was the instrumental with the chorus. "It be hard to understand because my jaws keep locking" In my neutral state, my speech is often referred to as too forceful, too abrupt or too quiet. The chorus reminded me of the latter description. In this track I touch on the value of speaking or not. Benefits, issues, causes and results.
