I’m gonna challenge myself by writing not just fanfiction again, but a full story, but ALSO an Ominis x F!MC story. Not only that but my MC is a black female Mc. Nervous but actually excited as I’m developing the outline and discovering how my girl Sabina and Ominis relationship develops. Also I find this a great exercise to stretch my writing skills and push them in areas I want to grow in.

Finished S2 of 7 brothers. I see what people were talking about. Yeah tbh I don’t really understand the “big reveals” that happen with the group when nothing seems to affect them. And they don’t really care.

The plot seems to have no true direction and I’m hesitant to even play s3 especially if Grant is non existent despite his family being relative to the plot since the beginning.

I was intrigued with the murder plot at first but it kinda fizzles out and has no true purpose when you realize the only person who really cares is Mc. And as a player I hardly care.

I wish the capitalist, anti capitalist, and movement thing would’ve came later on or maybe not at all bc I think either way I found it irrelevant when Mc mainly bitches or stays complicit to everything around her.

I think along with the three paths, they should be tied to a career Mc could pursue and that affects how she interacts.

Like Princess could be the trophy wife route with capitalist or journalist for anti-capitalist and whistle blower, will do anything for a scoop type for movement.

Twisted: Politican/CEO corrupt or not if you are capitalist or anti-capitalist. For movement you can be an extreme give it all away type.

Foxy: FBI/DEA route for capitalist or Anti capitalist. Depending on certain choices you make you can be corrupt or not.

I feel like also if more time spent with the non li boys could steer or influence Mc personality or route more. I feel like Simon, Logan, Avery would be the “ethical” capitalist.

Tristan, Chloe are the true Anti-capitalist.

The unethical ones are James, Jasper.

The series had me but it seems to not really know where to go when it comes to plot after mid point of Book 2. Like what it claims to be to me doesn’t really work. We’ll see how far I’ll play book 3. I may just complete it to complete.

Barely on episode 2 of S2 of 7 Brothers and can I just say, as much as I love a goody murder mystery. I really don’t understand why MC doesn’t ride off into the sunset.

Like suspicious death or murder isn’t cool or ideal but why are we THIS invested into having to figure out what happened to Sophie and whoever did it faces justice. Yeah she was a person who mattered but also just an antagonizing bitch. Like I hate it but I ain’t really crying over it either. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Like this is clearly some white collar, elite fuckery that Mc is not equipped to combat. Like she BARELY made it out alive and scholarship in tack fucking around with the elite psychopaths. Now we seeking this shit out off some moral necessity. Chile, the ethics and moral do not mix with these folks. Gone let that go.

Man call my Mc complicit but I got an insane dummy rich, trust fund, inherit everything boyfriend that’s kind sweet and has integrity and moral compass. My tuition is paid and I’m friends the with some of the crème of the crème socialites at the school and I still get to stay at the prestigious fraternity club. My annoying ass recovering addict brother is safe and currently on the up and up. The gran is stilll kicking and Ray is managing. I’m just saying, Mc should be laying low and enjoying her man. Literally had the strangest interaction on Litg Reddit sub on a post. This person LITERALLY was so nasty and aggressive for no reason and then bc I wasn’t going to engage with them, HOURS later they edit their comments to say I “edited my comments to make myself as a victim and just own it…yada yada”

And bc I said, you know what, I’ll just stfu and keep it pushing someone else mentions that’s “the same attic as their abusive mother…” BITCH WTF are you on???

All I said was so-so is interchangeable so they all act the same 💀

I’m in middle of the new volume. I know the female li usually gets shit in the story. But my lord, Ruby! At this point, I just wish she just go ahead and forget her partner (Callum in mine). New Litg season, same shit show yet here I am🥴🤷🏾‍♀️🫣

Pros:

1. Enemies to Lovers route:👀 intrigued…

2. Default nemesis seems to be more balanced than before.

3. Solid choices/personalities and routes ( Basic 3 so far but I mean expected. )

Cons:

1. Weird timeline especially regarding the twists (surprise dumping, no coupling yet, )

2. The inevitable merge of li personalities 👀🤷🏾‍♀️

3. Personal con, I can’t decide between Kane and Callum. I love both for different reasons. I had Callum as a front runner it something deep down is saying restart and focus on Kane

P.S. I love the alliteration of my Mc and Kane. Kane and Kahlúa is fucking cute so that’s a big motivator too.

Also I want to say I feel like FB writes solid foundations of Li lately and I really find them memorable and enjoyable it’s just the fact that they become one note and all the same that ruins it. Like I’m already enjoying Kane and Callum for different reasons even if they are a bit regurgitated versions of previous islanders.

I.e Kane is a rehashed version of my baby boy Oakley and James with designs inspo of Theo and Caleb.

Callum is obviously a mix of Jude and Ethan but personality/background is Rocco with dashes of like Evan (just with the passion and charitable bckgrnd. I know most forget about Evan since he’s apart of the most forgettable season imo, S7)

DDLV Headcanon/Theory

Unsure if this has been said before. But I’m new to this game and the fandom. Been obsessed with Disney’s Dreamlight Valley for the past month. And I have a hc about the lore surrounding our Mc and our connection to Dreamlight Valley and our powers. I believe that not only we have access to it and not necessarily its sole creator due to the fact Mc is a descendant and/or is Atlantian (this part can be personally decide for the player but in some capacity we are tied to Atlantis!)

And that the reference that Merlin makes along with some other characters about the ancient runes and ruins all over the valley about previous inhabitants, alludes that we have a connection to them. It’s just that Dreamlight Valley is the only stable middle place that is connecting the surface world and Atlantis’ hidden world below.

However, in an almost poetic irony, Dreamlight Valley is no longer inhabited or visited by Atlantans since Kida and Milo ruling has brought in a new wave of peace and rediscovery of their world. So there is joy and reason to be in the present of the now vs the dreamscape realms where every realm can coexist.

And that’s where our Mc came along, a child for whatever reason needing a place for adventure, to run away, or simply have to call their own and seek out all the principles of the valley.

Now for my own Mc, Maliaka, I like to HC that their father used to tell of wonderful myths and legends from growing up by small sea town. And used to be entertained by the sea stories and explorations told by his own father about the legends of Atlantis. And that their father had passed down all the “proof” of Atlantis that MC grew obsessed with and felt a connection to. Which is why all the journals and stuff we find in game are written in Atlantean. And our power stems from the crystals/life force that connects all Atlanteans. But as an adult, we’d assume it was just childish make believe language.

Anyway what leads to Mc abandoning the valley and also everything she remembers about Atlantis or at least fascination in it was the death of her father who had went to look for his father at sea searching one last time to go back to Atlantis where he originated from. But both were assumed lost at sea forever.

Which devastated Maliaka, and she could never fully discuss this because most assume her talk of losing her father and grandfather to the defenses of Atlantis/unforgiving sea, was a child coping or making up story. Which created a rift with others including her mother.

Anyway long story/explanation short. Maliaka is all grown up and returns to family home for the summer and is transported back to the valley when she needs it most.

And maybe with further creation of main story and whenever they add Atlantis or explore Atlantis world/realm, we can get some nods to this theory. It’s be so cool and not just me obsessed with Disney Atlantis and always wanting to go there. ☺️

Controversial but I rather still be the single islander going into this next recoupling which gives room for potential new bombshells. That way, once again, no one is FORCED into pairings you don’t want. Because we alll know that a CONSTANT complaint in the seasons.

I rather be in an unofficial pairings that everyone understands is our man than be in the pairings with an li and despite rude options are coded to think Mc is all in, in their pairing. I think that’s why they’ve left us single so long so far.

Also imo given the pacing of in game universe, we barely started Day 4, sometimes they do have official recoupling this “late” in the game. If you can even call it late when it’s day fucking 4.

Idk I’m secure bc either way we’ll get what we want regardless. That’s how it always go. Maybe not as soon as we want but that’s literally always what happens.
