Inspired by Charles McGee, my second grade student artists never cease to impress me. And the world.
Inspired by student-selected works from the Rockefeller Empire State Plaza modern art collection and hosted in its midst, we celebrated Youth Art Month with over 1,500 student artworks in the South Concourse.
Using toys converted to tools, my kindergartners stamped (smaller) Legos to make windows on the buildings they drew from tracing rectangular Legos the week before. We will add model magic clouds soon!
