We Made A Quick Trip To New York!
AutoCamp Catskills Weekend Getaway
This week we drove upstate to the Catskills for a Valentines Day Weekend getaway.
let me tell you about my Monday woke up at 5am, went to meet my 6am client who I see EVERY Monday. Except, this Monday. We rescheduled to Thursday and I forgot. Which I’m prone to do. Knowing that I am forgetful, I updated my personal calendar that runs my life and STILL forgot 🤦🏽♀️ Until about 6:05am when I decided to check my calendar 😑 Frustrated was an understatement! I immediately started going off on myself! How could I be so dumb? How could I waste precious sleep time? I wanted to cry! Thank God for Meditation!🙌🏽 I had that frustration you feel in your throat. I was done with myself! Simultaneously I was telling myself to relax, get home and meditate. I chose a meditation about acceptance and patience. It was everything I needed! It helped put my mistake into perspective. How can I accomplish major goals if I tear myself down when I mess up? I realized the way I responded to my own mistakes, will be how I respond to others. How can I show patience or expect patience from others if I’m not patient with myself? I am absent minded. I have a calendar and still show up to the wrong things. I have a grocery list and still leave the store without something. It’s just who I am. I accept myself and I am patient with myself. Now I have to ask, how patient are you with yourself? How do you speak to yourself when you make mistakes?
