“Mmm, this is why you’re the boss and why I’m paid the big bucks.” It was a bit of a joke but more leaning towards the truth, honestly. They made a Hell of a team, the two of them. She pulled her pen from her clipboard, flipping pages until she reached a free one to write exactly what Roman had asked. Well... somewhat. There was a little of her own sort of short-hand-- notes that left her with what Roman wanted in deep detail. But with nothing more but common sorts of things that would be tied to Janus instead. Notes that wouldn’t make anyone look twice coming from a cosmetics company. “I’ll get on it right away, sir, unless you had anything else that you needed from me?” There always seemed to be more-- enough that half her work followed her home. Sure, she had her small bits of time by herself-- gym every night for one thing or another and... well she’s sure there was something more. That wasn’t important right now. “It might take me a moment to get everything just right, of course. --timing of the delivery is, of course, a very important part of the whole process.”

I feel it gives a little more familiarity... intimacy.” So she doesn’t smile, however? She felt the tinge of joy either way. The mayor tried his best to keep a lot of the lives of his children out of the papers, but when you had people close to them on the payroll? It made things easier to find out otherwise. She looked up from the paperwork that she had been working on only moments before. “Unless of course you find that to be a bit too much?”
