❥Kikuyo grew up with Kuroko since childhood because their mothers are besties.
❥She was also neighbors with Reo from a very young age, and the two of them practically grew up together.
❥Kikuyo has always had a bright and energetic personality, and she cares deeply about the people around her.
❥Ever since she was little, she had been a very free-spirited and curious girl.
❥There was barely any hobby, form of art, or sport she hadn’t tried at least once. Her family never had a problem with how often she jumped from one interest to another because they simply wanted her to find something she truly loved.
❥Out of all the arts she explored, painting became the one closest to her heart.
❥Among sports, she fell in love with dancing.
❥Since childhood, Kikuyo adored princess stories, fairy tales, and surreal fantasy worlds.
❥Her favorite thing to watch was Tinker Bell.
❥She inherited her love for flowers and gardening from her mother, who loved nature and flowers just as much as she did.
❥Kikuyo works part-time at a flower shop, a place that suits her perfectly because of how deeply she loves flowers and nature.
❥She also runs a social media page where she shares information about flowers and gardening. Alongside that, she posts parts of her daily life, her paintings, dancing videos, photography, and even silly videos.
❥ Because of her bright personality, aesthetic lifestyle, and genuine warmth, she gained a large following online.
❥Several entertainment companies approached Kikuyo multiple times and offered her opportunities to become an idol. However, she rejected every single offer.
❥The most expensive art she sold is 50k

✠Kikuyo has a younger brother named Haru, who is eight years younger than her.
✠Her father, Arai Kiesuke, originally had the family name Isogai, but after marriage, he took his wife’s surname.
✠Kikuyo’s father loves his family deeply and never allowed them to feel lacking in anything. Because of that, Kikuyo grew up with high standards and never cared much about other people’s wealth. Instead, she came to believe that love was the most important thing in life.
✠Kikuyo’s room has the atmosphere of a fairy forest. She even has a special art studio that looks like it came straight out of an enchanted woodland, and her father personally built it for her.

ミAzumane Saki had been Kikuyo’s best friend since elementary school.
ミKikuyo loved Saki dearly, and those feelings were completely mutual.
ミ Saki loved capturing beautiful things through photography and dreamed of becoming a photographer in the future.
ミHowever, she grew up in an extremely strict and perfectionist household.
ミ As she got older, the pressure only became worse, and it pushed her into severe depression. It affected her mental state so deeply that she constantly believed she was worthless unless she was perfect.
ミEventually, things became so bad that Saki attempted to take her own life.
ミEver since then, Kikuyo has carried endless guilt for not realizing how badly Saki was suffering sooner.
ミThe camera Kikuyo owns now originally belonged to Saki.
ミIn a way, Kikuyo continues Saki’s dream by using it to capture beautiful moments and scenery in her place.
ミWhenever she met someone who reminded her of Saki, even if she had no personal connection to them, she always tried to help.
ミDuring their first year, Akashi reminded her of Saki more than anyone else. That was why she wanted to understand him better.
ミBefore everything happened, Saki had gifted Kikuyo a sunflower hairpin and bracelet because she always believed Kikuyo resembled a sunflower—bright, warm, and always reaching toward the light.

࿇Kikuyo never painted to become famous.
࿇She isn’t trying to “be an artist”
࿇ she’s simply bringing the worlds inside her mind to life. That’s why her art never feels commercial. When people look at it, it doesn’t feel like:
“This was made to become famous.”
It feels like:
“This is genuinely a part of her soul.”
And usually, those are the kinds of artists who unexpectedly become famous, because people can tell the feeling isn’t fake.
࿇At first, Kikuyo just posted random things:
a painting she finished at midnight
videos of paint covering her hands
flowers she found
sketchbook pages
blurry photos of rain
With simple captions like:
“I saw this place in a dream.”
“I wanna reborn as a fairy in my next life.”
“I tried to capture a feeling, not a place.”
And somehow, people slowly started connecting with her.
࿇Especially because of how warm and sincere she is, her followers don’t feel like they’re watching a celebrity — they feel like they’re following a real person and the beautiful little world around her.
࿇ there’s something poetic about the fact that Saki wanted to capture the beauty of the world… and now Kikuyo continues doing exactly that through Saki’s camera and her own paintings.
It’s almost like a part of Saki is still alive inside her art and that’s what allows them to stay connected, even across two different worlds.
“She is crazy but she's mine.”

↻Mitsuki was the one who introduced basketball to Aomine and taught him how to play. As far back as she could remember, Mitsuki had always been playing basketball—she used to say she was “born with a basketball.” Daiki and Mitsuki were constantly playing together. Mitsuki usually won, but sometimes she let Daiki win just for fun. Eventually, they started playing against older players as well, developing strong harmony and excellent teamwork.
Because of her talent, Mitsuki attracted the attention of foreign coaches. One of the biggest basketball talent development programs in the United States invited her while she was still in 5th grade, and she became a trending name in sports news at the time. At a very young age, Mitsuki moved to the U.S. and met other prodigies there.
Her main strengths were her jumping ability and free-style play which made her movement unpredictable. Because of that, she could play both as a power forward and sometimes even as a point guard. Mitsuki truly loved basketball with all her heart, and that passion helped her survive and adapt in that environment. During that time, she also met Nash and Taiga. Nash quickly got attached to Mitsuki, but Mitsuki never felt a good vibe from him. She simply saw him as “a good basketball player.” Still, Nash never managed to beat her during that period.
Mitsuki became very famous.
And the nickname "Jackrabbit" was given to her in the U.S.
During a break, she returned to Japan to surprise Daiki and Satsuki and visit their basketball club. There, she met Midorima.
Mitsuki was very energetic, kind, loud, and extremely social and a tease, She easily connected with others, and she naturally got close to Midorima too. Teasing Midorima was fun for her, but as a shooter, she also respected him.
In her third year, Mitsuki returned to Japan again. She was the one who managed to keep Daiki coming to practice. Whenever Daiki threatened to skip training, Mitsuki would say, “If you can beat me, then you can stop training.” Daiki never managed to defeat her, even after his talent awakened. Spending time at the club also brought Mitsuki and Midorima closer, and they developed strong teamwork and became each others comfort person friends.(ofc Midorima denied it.)
『 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱𝘆』
One day, Satsuki was late to practice. Mitsuki got worried and went looking for her. When she found her, she saw several dangerous men trying to harass her. Without thinking, she threw a basketball at them and got involved to protect her. She told Satsuki to go call the others instead of the police, because she was afraid it might affect her ability to continue playing basketball in the moral standards. Satsuki left to get help and of course she called the police too, while Mitsuki stayed alone facing four of them.
When Satsuki and the others arrived, they found Mitsuki badly injured, lying on the ground with a broken leg and 3 broken fingers, covered in blood. She was rushed to the hospital. Because of the severity of her injuries, she could no longer continue playing basketball. This led her into severe depression and a mental breakdown. She blamed Satsuki for everything, and from that point on, their relationship became extremely strained.
Warning: S*uicide mentioned
Later, Midorima came to visit her, bringing a lucky item for her like he always did. On one visit, he found Mitsuki bleeding from a cut from her neck and barely conscious. Thankfully for him, she survived cause she missed the dangerous spot. Another time, he found her on top of a building attempting to take her own life, and Midorima stopped her—both physically and emotionally—through his words, until Mitsuki broke down crying in his arms and eventually fell asleep from exhaustion.
Mitsuki managed to appear in court against the four attackers. But those four came from wealthy families and bought the judge in court .they were only sentenced to financial compensation. Mitsuki was erased from the sports world, and rumors spread that she was violent and the one who started everything. She was completely ostracized from the basketball community. This further destroyed her, but it also gave her a new goal: revenge and becoming a judge—someone who could decide the fate of criminals.the fate of THEM.
She no longer wanted to see her sister, so she asked her family to let her move to another city nearby, and they reluctantly agreed. Mitsuki began to change—physically and mentally. She started a new life. She changed her style, dyed her hair, and transformed her personality. Her study habits became extreme and obsessive. She started smoking and riding a motorcycle as a way to escape her thoughts.
In her first year of high school, she accidentally met Midorima again. And just like in the past, she started teasing him again. That eventually brought them closer once more, slowly rebuilding their old dynamic.

Midorima knew something was wrong the moment he walked into the gym.
It was too quiet.
“…Why is nobody talking?”
Takao was sitting on the bench unnaturally straight with a newspaper in his hands.
And beside him—
He felt it.
The trouble was here.
Mitsuki.
Wearing fake rectangular glasses.
Midorima stopped walking immediately.
“…What.”
Takao slowly lowered the newspaper dramatically.
“Today’s lucky item is disappointment, nanodayo.”
Mitsuki adjusted the fake glasses with the exact same motion Midorima always used.
“You should avoid Libra people today nanodayo.”
The entire gym exploded into laughter.
Midorima’s eye twitched violently.
“…Take those off.”
“That's why you're no good nanodayo,”
Mitsuki adjusted the fake glasses with the exact same smug motion he always used.
“Fate chose me.”
“Nanodayo”
Mitsuki repeated seriously.
Takao stood up and pulled out a tiny notebook.
“6:42 AM. Midorima Shintaro wakes up from his perfect back sleeping position”
“Takao.”
“He then take his glasses with his right hand, nanodayo.”
“And he does this routine every single day without any mistakes , scary.”
“YOU'RE MORE SCARY FOR KNOWING ALL OF THESE.”
“Sssssh don't question the chosen one by the fate.” She cleared her throat.
Mitsuki suddenly pushed the fake glasses up his nose.
“Today’s lucky item is—”
Mitsuki immediately pulled out a random cabbage from behind her back.
“THE SACRED CABBAGE.”
“WHERE DID YOU EVEN GET THAT?!” Midorima snapped.
“Never question fate, nanodayo,” Mitsuki said calmly.
Takao nodded wisely. “The cabbage chooses its owner.”
Midorima turned around instantly.
“I’m leaving.”
Before he could escape, Mitsuki grabbed the back of his jersey.
“Shinny wait.”
Takao suddenly grabbed the cabbage and shoved it into Midorima’s hands.
“Quick! Hold your child.”
“I AM NOT HOLDING THIS LIKE IT’S A BABY.”
“Too late,” Mitsuki said while pulling out her phone.
Click.
Midorima’s soul visibly left his body.
“…Did you just take a picture.”
“Oh definitely.”
“Delete it.”
“No ♡”
Takao leaned against Mitsuki dramatically.
“This is such a beautiful family moment.”
“STOP MAKING IT WORSE.”
Mitsuki grabbed the cabbage back and hugged it protectively.
“No, Shinny. You abandoned our son.”
“OUR WHAT.”
Takao pointed accusingly at him.
“You left Mitsuki_san alone with the cabbage.”
“WHAT ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT????.”
“You're so cruel Midorima , leaving your child.”
“I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW IT EXISTED TEN SECONDS AGO.”
Takao gasped dramatically.
“HE’S FLEEING.”
Mitsuki cupped her hands around her mouth.
“Shinny, don’t abandon your cabbage family!”
The entire gym was already falling apart from laughter.
Takao was half dead on the floor.
Mitsuki was clutching the cabbage like a grieving widow.
Even Otsubo had given up trying to act mature.
And in the back of the gym—
Miyaji and Kimura were absolutely losing it.
Miyaji had one hand over his face, shoulders shaking violently while trying—and failing—to stop laughing.
“…PFFT—”
Kimura had fully turned away because he was laughing too hard into his sleeve.
Midorima stared at them in betrayal.
Mitsuki nodded seriously.
“The fatherhood changed him.”
“I AM NOT A FATHER.”
Miyaji wiped tears from his eyes and finally decided to join the chaos.
He walked over dramatically and looked down at the cabbage in Mitsuki’s arms.
Then he sighed in disappointment.
“You’re so cruel, Midorima… leaving your child like this.”
The gym exploded again.
Midorima’s jaw nearly dropped.
“Miyaji-senpai?!”
Kimura inhaled deeply, trying to regain composure.
Failed immediately.
“…Miyaji is right,” he said while laughing under his breath. “Take responsibility.”
“KIMURA-SENPAI?!”
Takao collapsed onto Mitsuki dramatically.
“THEY JOINED US.”
Mitsuki looked emotional.
“We’re finally a complete family.”
“STOP MAKING IT WORSE.”
Miyaji crossed his arms and shook his head.
“Can’t believe you’d run away after having a kid.”
“IT IS A CABBAGE.”
“A child is a child.”
“IT’S LITERALLY A VEGETABLE. NANODAYO”
Takao suddenly pointed at Midorima with horror.
“WAIT.”
Everyone looked at him.
“…You didn’t even ask for the kid’s name.”
Silence.
Mitsuki slowly lowered her head sadly.
“…Wow.”
Miyaji clicked his tongue in disappointment.
“Cold.”
Kimura looked genuinely disturbed now.
“I expected better from you, Midorima.”
“WHY AM I GETTING JUDGED BY EVERYONE.”
Takao gently placed a hand on Mitsuki’s shoulder.
“It’s okay. We’ll raise Kyataru together.”
Midorima froze.
“…Kyataru?”
Mitsuki hugged the cabbage proudly against her chest.
“Our son.”
Midorima froze.
“…STOP SAYING OUR SON!!”
“Eeeeh?” Mitsuki tilted her head innocently. “It’s definitely our son after the things we’ve done that night~”
She added a wink at the end.
Silence.
Absolute silence.
Midorima’s soul left his body.
“DON’T SAY IT LIKE THAT!!!”
The entire gym went dead quiet.
Takao’s smile slowly disappeared.
Miyaji lowered his water bottle.
Kimura's jaw dropped.
Otsubo looked genuinely concerned now.
A terrifying aura started rising from the team.
Midorima noticed it immediately.
“…W-Why is it suddenly quiet?”
Takao slowly cracked his knuckles.
“Mido…”
Miyaji stepped forward with a dark smile.
“…rima…”
Even Kimura looked disappointed.
“MIIIIIIIIDOOOOORIIIIIIIIIMAAAAAA.”
“WAIT NO THAT’S NOT WHAT SHE MEANT—”
Mitsuki in the background: “Shinny run ~”
At this point Midorima genuinely considered transferring schools.

At first, they tried to act like a perfect family, but her father’s trauma never truly left him, which made it difficult for him to be around Yuzuha, especially because she looked so much like her mother. Eventually, her mother’s possessiveness over Yuzuha became unbearable, leading her father to leave. One of the reasons Yuzuha’s grandfather (Teiko's basketball coach) agreed to take her in was because he felt guilty that his son had abandoned her — but unlike her parents, her grandfather genuinely loved her.

Yuzuha possesses an exceptional talent for identifying people’s weaknesses.
By carefully analyzing someone’s facial expressions, body language, speech patterns, and overall behavior, she can quickly figure out what kind of person they are, what they are hiding, and where their weak points is.
Unlike Momoi, who relies on collecting previous data and statistics, Yuzuha does not need detailed information beforehand. Simply observing someone in the moment is often enough for her to predict their next move or reaction. She developed this ability through years of playing chess. Constantly analyzing opponents, predicting strategies, reading subtle expressions, and thinking several steps ahead eventually sharpened her perception to an abnormal degree.

Since childhood, she endured years of harsh violin training despite hating classical music. She desperately wanted everything to stop, but she was too afraid of physically hurting herself. Instead, she began harming herself internally. She would eat excessive amounts of sweets to make herself sick, starve herself for long periods of time, didn't sleep for days and intentionally damage her body in any way she could just to spend even a single day resting in a hospital bed. However, her mother’s strictness never lessened, and over time she developed an addiction to sweets, which is why she still cannot give them up even years later.
✤𝗞𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝘆𝗼𝘁𝗮 𝘅 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗬𝘂𝘇𝘂𝗵𝗮✤
〈𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴〉
Yuzuha occasionally visited the basketball club despite having no real interest in basketball itself. Sometimes Aina would ask her to stop by, and other times her grandfather would ask her to bring something to the club members, which was why she ended up becoming familiar with some of the players.
Since childhood, Yuzuha had been fascinated by perfumes. Her love for fragrances eventually led her to study perfume-making itself, and over time she learned how to create perfumes on her own. The scents she made were unforgettable — almost hypnotizing — and they always left a lingering trace of her presence behind. She had incredibly refined taste when it came to fragrances.
Because of that, almost everyone’s first impression of Yuzuha was always the same:
“She smells heavenly.”
However, Yuzuha herself was quiet and detached from the people around her. She rarely showed interest in others.
After Kise joined the basketball club, he naturally became curious about her. At first, he tried approaching her casually through small talk.
“Is that a new perfume? I don’t think I’ve smelled it before.”
Most of his attempts were mixed with his usual confidence and subtle bragging about being a model. One day, while talking to her, he casually placed his hand on her shoulder without thinking much about it.
Yuzuha immediately asked him to remove his hand in an unusually sharp tone.
Kise was genuinely caught off guard. No girl had ever spoken to him like that before, especially over something so casual. To him, it was just a harmless touch.
“What’s her problem? I only touched her shoulder…”
At the same time, his pride was hurt.
Yuzuha noticed the cocky expression still lingering on his face, and without saying a word, she took off her uniform jacket right in front of him and threw it into a nearby trash can because his touch had dirtied it in her eyes.
That moment became the thing that captured Kise’s attention the most.
For the first time, someone treated him with complete indifference.
The less attention Yuzuha gave him, the more curious he became about her. Her coldness, calm personality, sharp tongue, and the mysterious aura surrounding her slowly pulled him in until his curiosity eventually turned into a genuine crush.

Yuzuha developed a strong discomfort toward physical touch because of the environment she grew up in.
From a very young age, she participated in violin competitions. Unlike chess, where she was naturally talented, violin was something she struggled through with endless effort and pressure. Since her mother wanted to make her famous in the classical music world, she often brought young Yuzuha to elite parties, formal gatherings, and private events filled with adults from the industry.
People there constantly treated Yuzuha more like a beautiful object than a child.
They would touch her hair, hold her shoulders, pat her head, cup her face, and praise her appearance while saying things like:
“Such a pretty girl.” “She’s beautiful.” “What elegant features.”
At first, Yuzuha only felt uncomfortable without understanding why. But as she grew older, she slowly began realizing how invasive and unsettling those interactions actually were. Many adults ignored her personal boundaries completely, and because of her mother’s obsession with maintaining a “perfect image,” Yuzuha was always expected to stay quiet, smile politely, and tolerate it.
Over time, those experiences caused her to associate physical touch with discomfort, loss of control, and vulnerability.
That is why Yuzuha hates being touched unexpectedly, especially by people she does not trust. Even something as casual as a hand on her shoulder can immediately make her tense up or react harshly.

“What’s wrong, Kikuyo? You look more nervous than I do,” Akashi said calmly, trying to lighten the atmosphere while walking toward Kikuyo’s home.
Today was the day.
The meeting between her parents and her boyfriend.
“Y-you know… just—” Kikuyo tried to gather her words.
“My dad will definitely be strict toward you, so—”
Before she could finish, Akashi gently tightened his hand around hers.
“It’s okay. Don’t worry about it,” he said calmly, offering her a reassuring smile.
Soon, they arrived in front of her house.
Before he could knock, the door opened — or rather, a small figure pushed it open.
Both of them lowered their gaze.
A little boy stood there, staring at Akashi with intense eyes — almost as if he was trying to rip his soul.
Kikuyo swallowed nervously, sensing the silent staring competition between her boyfriend and her younger brother, Haru — her little bodyguard, raised under her father’s strict discipline.
The tension ended when a bright voice came from inside.
“Akashi-kun, you’re finally here! I didn’t hear the doorbell… Anyway, why are you standing outside? Come in!”
“Chotto, Haru! Stop blocking their way and let them inside!” her mother scolded gently, breaking the heavy atmosphere.
Akashi closed his eyes slightly and smiled.
“Hello, Mrs. Arai. It’s a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for having me,” he said politely, gently patting Kikuyo’s back so she would step inside.
She took off her shoes and went in first, and Akashi followed.
“Mom, where is Dad?”
“I called him. He said he’ll be back in a minute. He was excited,” her mother replied.
Kikuyo silently thought, He is definitely anything but excited…
“I’m going to make some tea. Is that okay?” she asked, looking at Akashi.
Akashi smiled warmly and nodded, signaling that she should go ahead. His calm reaction eased her mind as she headed to the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Akashi respectfully handed her mother a large bouquet of chrysanthemum flowers — her mother's favorite.
“Oh my! Thank you so much!” her mother said happily, taking the flowers with heart-shaped eyes. “How did you know I love this flower?”
“Well,” Akashi replied smoothly, “Kikuyo told me her name was given by her mother, so I assumed this flower must be special to your family.”
His warm tone worked perfectly.
Her mother looked at the flowers with complete love and happiness.
The expression reminded him of his sunflower — she had the exact same look Kikuyo had whenever she was doing something she truly loved.
“Now I understand where Kikuyo got her beauty from.”
Akashi responded gently,
“It’s only natural. She resembles you in many ways.”
Kikuyo's mom froze slightly ,surprised by how easily he won her heart.
Soon, they sat at the dining table.
Akashi noticed the intense gaze from earlier had disappeared.
Now it was just the adults.
Suddenly, Haru ran into the kitchen where Kikuyo was pouring tea.
“Big sis! Big sis!”
“What’s wrong, Haru?”
“His talking disgusts me. Please break up with him.”
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“He’s very silver-tongued!”
“You mean well-spoken?”
“No! Not in a good way!” Haru protested.
Kikuyo stared at her small brother.
Well… he wasn’t completely wrong. She had noticed it the first time she met Akashi — his determined tone, his absolute confidence, the way his words carried authority. He always spoke as if people would naturally follow him.
But now, it was different. After losing against Seirin in his first year, something in him had grown — his charm, his presence, his depth.
“Ne-chan, are you listening?” Haru tugged at her skirt.
“Oh, Haru. Let’s go back. I can’t leave him alone for too long.”
She carried the tea and desserts toward the dining room.
“Please listen to meee!” Haru followed behind her.
As they returned, Kikuyo noticed her mother laughing warmly while talking to Akashi.
She set the tea on the table and sat next to her boyfriend
That was a good sign — since her mother was the only one who could handle her father.
Suddenly, the sound of the entrance door slamming echoed through the house.
“I’m home!”
Kikuyo’s heart rate increased instantly.
He was here.
The final boss.
Her father entered with a big smile — carrying something in his hand.
“Well, I heard there’s going to be another MALE in this house… a male who claims to be our little Kiku’s boyfriend. But I guess I must have had a nightmare… and let’s ignore those men’s shoes at the door. Probably I saw wrong, yes…”
“Honey… what’s in your hand?” her mother asked cautiously.
“This? I brought it in case that nightmare wasn’t actually a nightmare.”
Kikuyo suddenly slammed her hands on the dining table.
“ISN’T THAT GRANDPA’S HUNTING SHOTGUN?!”
“Yes, but I just brought it in case—”
He was interrupted.
“Hello, sir. I am Akashi Seijuro, Kikuyo’s boyfriend.”
The calm male voice made the father’s eyes widen.
That wasn’t a nightmare.
In seconds, he pointed the shotgun at Akashi.
“Get out of my house.”
“Dad!”
“Honey!”
Ignoring them, he shouted again.
“Get out before I blow your skull.”
Akashi’s expression remained calm.
“There is no need for violence, sir.”
“Leave.”
“I can’t do that.”
His tone was steady. Unshaken.
“Arai Keisuke. Put that empty shotgun down and sit.”
Everyone’s attention shifted to the owner of the voice.
His everything.
His wife.
She was standing there with a serious expression — calm, but dangerously angry.
She looked at him as if to say:
“Stop this right now… or you’ll be sleeping on the couch for two weeks.”
And he couldn’t even survive three days of that punishment.
He immediately froze.
Slowly, carefully, he lowered the shotgun to the floor.
Sweat ran down his face.
He desperately hoped this wouldn’t lead to that punishment later.
“Yes, ma’am,” he said quietly.
He sat back down beside his wife and son like a scolded dog.
For a moment, the atmosphere finally calmed.
But the tension returned instantly when he noticed Kikuyo’s soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend smiling calmly at him.
His smile.
That confident, polite, unshaken smile.
He gritted his teeth slightly.
“Well… sorry about the mess, Seijuro-kun,” his wife said gently, trying to smooth things over.
"Seijuro-kun? When did you both get so close" Kikuyo thought to herself
Akashi’s composed smile.
"It's okay mrs.Arai
After introductions and polite conversation, Akashi spoke about his background — his family, school, basketball club, and student council.
Her mother listened proudly.
Her father, however, was quietly planning imaginary strategies ,How to kill him and bury the body.
Then came the question.
“Seijuro-kun, tell me… what do you like about my daughter?”
Akashi leaned slightly forward, steepling his fingers, gaze steady and calculated.
“I like how she turns everything into something positive,” he said calmly. “At first, we had many ups and downs, but those moments made me realize how caring she is. She always tries to make others feel seen and loved. She fights for them without hesitation. I respect that deeply.”
He looked at Kikuyo with quiet admiration.
“And most importantly… she sees people for who they are, not just their names and titles. She accepted me as I am.”
Kikuyo melted in place.
Her mother couldn’t smile any wider.
“That is exactly who Kikuyo is.”
Then the father leaned back, narrowing his eyes.
“Well then, Kikuyo… what did you see in this silver-tongued guy?”
Before she could answer, he continued dramatically:
“Is it just because he is well-mannered, rich, successful, student council president, captain of the basketball team, handsome— AND—”
Realization hit him.
“Damn it.”
He stood up and marched toward the kitchen.
“Where are you going, honey?”
“TO GET BEER!”
After a while
Kikuyo watched Akashi calmly sip his tea.
“This is actually good. Is it saffron and cinnamon?”
“Yes. It’s calming, isn’t it?”
“Very.”
“STOP FLIRTING WITH MY DAUGHTER!”
The father had clearly drunk too much.
“I wasn’t flirting with her, sir.”
“LIAR!”
He was already too drunk to control his volume.
“BUGASHI, you must answer my questions honestly from now on!”
Haru covered his ears.
“Too loud, Dad…”
Bugashi? Bug x akashi??..stop embarassing me more dad ....kiku thought to herself
“I was answering honestly before too, sir”
“But first — Kiku darling!”
He suddenly pointed toward the exit door.
“Go buy some ice cream for tonight. And take Haru with you.”
Kikuyo blinked in surprise.
“Eh? Now?”
“Yes!”
He definitely wants me to leave… she thought.
She looked at Akashi with concern.
He gave her a small nod.
She sighed.
“Okay… Haru, let’s go.”
She took her brother’s hand and headed toward the door.
The moment the door closed, the atmosphere inside changed completely.
The father immediately turned back to Akashi.
“Now then,” he said, taking another sip, “let’s continue.”
Akashi remained calm, sitting straight, hands resting neatly in front of him.
"Did you hold hands?"
"Well yes since we are in a relationship"
His jaw dropped "This soon???? I must make her wash her hands 10 times no 10000 times"he murmered
He took one more sip
"DID U GUYS GO ON DATES?"
"Honey calm down"
"NO IT'S MY TURN TO ASK"
"Its ok Mrs.arai"
Akashi answered without hesitation.
"Yes we did"
"WEHRE"
"To our personal restaurant , aquarium , on a picnic , art gallery and..."
"SHUT UP I DONT NEED TO HEAR MORE"
took another sip
"WHAT DOES SHE CALL YOU ?"
"well when we are alone she calls me...."
"DONT TELL ME SHE CALLS YOU SEI SEI OR DARIN.."
"Well she sometimes d-"
"DAMN IT FUCK THIS LIFE
took 3 more sips
"SHE CALLED ME DARIN WHEN SHE WAS A CHILD" he shouted emotionally.
Akashi blinked once. Even he was not expecting that reaction.
The father suddenly leaned forward again.
The mood shifted.
His fingers steepled together, shadow falling over his face.
Now the interrogation became serious.
“How many times?”
Both Akashi and his wife looked confused.
“How many times what, sir?” Akashi asked calmly.
The father stood up abruptly.
“HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU BEEN INTIMATE?! DO I NEED TO BUY BABY CLOTHES OR NOT?!”
The room went completely silent.
Akashi’s eyes flickered for the first time — not with fear, but with surprise at the dramatic escalation.
He was slightly stunned by the intensity of this family bond.
“KEISUKE!”
“DAD!”
All three of them turned toward the doorway.
Kikuyo stood there, holding Haru’s hand.
Her face was bright red.
smoke practically rising from her head.
“WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!”
He pointed at Akashi.
“SHE LOVED ME FIRST! SHE ALWAYS WANTED TO MARRY ME WHEN SHE WAS A CHILD!! SHE WANTED THIS FAMILY TO LAST FOREVER!"
He took a deep breath.
“AND I ASSURE YOU — YOU WILL BECOME HER EX-BOYFRIEND, YOU BUG! I CANNOT ACCEPTS THIS!"
Her mother grabbed the father firmly, her expression dark and terrifying.
“I think we need to have a real talk.”
She turned to Akashi.
“Seijuro-kun, please take Kikuyo and Haru outside for a while.”
Without hesitation, Akashi stood.
“Yes, ma’am.”
He gently took Kikuyo’s hand.
The three left the house.
Haru looked up at his sister.
“Ne-chan… what does ‘intimate’ mean?”
Kikuyo looked ahead, still embarrassed.
“…Let’s just go buy ice cream first.”

Kise stared at Yuzuha like she had just asked him to jump off a cliff.
“Me… what?”
“You heard it.”
“B-But, Yuzucchi-senpai…” his voice cracked in pure horror, “my reputation…”
Yuzuha rested her cheek against her hand, completely unbothered.
“Then forget dating me if you can’t do it.”
She stood up smoothly from her chair as if the conversation was already over.
Kise’s soul nearly left his body.
“W-WAIT—”
He grabbed her wrist before she could leave, panic written all over his face.
“But Yuzucchi-senpai, that’s SOCIAL SUICIDE!”
“Then don’t do it.” She shrugged. “Nobody’s forcing you.”
She tried walking away again.
“FINE, FINE, I’LL DO IT!” Kise nearly yelled, making two people at the café turn around. “SO PLEASE SIT DOWN! COME ON, YOU HAVEN’T EVEN EATEN YOUR CAKE YET!”
Yuzuha slowly sat back down.
Kise sighed loudly.
“You really love torturing me, don’t you?”
“How did you know?” Knowing how you are.”
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?!”
“You heard me well enough.”
A wild, dangerous smirk spread across her face as she took another bite of cake.
“I’m looking forward to tomorrow.”
-The Next Day-
The school gym was overflowing with noise.
Teachers giving speeches.
Third-years crying dramatically.
Students taking pictures.
Bouquets everywhere.
The sound of laughter and yelling bounced off the walls nonstop, turning the entire ceremony into pure chaos.
Near the back wall of the gym, Yuzuha leaned casually beside Aina while holding her graduation certificate under one arm.
“I’ll miss you, Yuzu-chaaaan…”
“You don’t even come to this school.”
“I knowwww, but still…”
Aina dramatically clung to her arm.
“I’ll miss high school Yuzu-chan…”
Yuzuha let out a quiet laugh through her nose.
“We can still go out like we always did before.”
“I KNOW BUT IT’S DIFFERENT.”
Yuzuha looked at her for a second before giving her one of those rare soft smiles she only ever showed people she genuinely cared about.
“Thanks for coming all the way from Akita.”
Aina immediately melted.
“It’s the least I can do for my sissy bestie.” She grinned proudly. “Plus we’re celebrating after this.”
“I'm looking forward to it.”
Yuzuha exhaled softly before glancing sideways at her.
“By the way…”
“Hm?”
“Do things go smoothly there?”
“With what?”
“You and Murasakibara.”
Aina froze.
Then immediately turned bright red.
“Y-YEAH…”
“Oh?” Yuzuha’s eyes narrowed with amusement. “I see progress.”
“Tell me.”
“LISTEN TO ME, YUZU-CHAN, HE—”
And just like that, Aina completely exploded into storytelling mode.
Apparently, nobody was escaping that conversation alive.
Meanwhile…
On the other side of the gym…
“What happened to Kise-kun?”
“Kise-senpai is still hot even tho he looks like he is about to get execution.”
“Kyaaaa he is so hot”
Kise sat on the floor near the stage stairs looking like a man minutes away from public execution.
Actually no.
Worse.
Because execution ended eventually.
This humiliation would live forever.
“I think she hates me…”
“She?” Nakamura blinked. “You mean Yuzuha-san? Well… that isn’t exactly new.”
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT, NAKAMURA-SENPAI?!”
“KISE, A(R)E YOU OKAY?!” Hayakawa shouted loudly as always. “WHY A(R)E YOU TREMB(L)ING THIS MUCH?!”
“I’m about to publicly humiliate myself…”
Hayakawa and Nakamura exchanged confused looks.
“Public humiliation?”
Kise ignored them completely.
His dead eyes slowly shifted toward the microphone on stage.
Like it was the execution rope waiting for him.
Nearby, a group of fangirls whispered excitedly.
“Shirogane-senpai is finally graduating…”
“Finally we have our chance with Kise-senpai.”
“Thank God that girl’s leaving, she was always around him…”
Kise’s eye twitched.
Like a guard dog hearing danger.
“YOSH.”
He stood up so dramatically several fangirls flinched.
Nakamura nearly jumped.
“KISE?!”
He marched straight toward his death.
The second Kise grabbed the microphone, the entire gym’s attention shifted toward him.
The girls immediately screamed.
“KISE-KUN!”
“HE’S SO COOL!”
“IS THERE A SPECIAL EVENT?!”
Near the wall, Aina blinked.
“Yuzu-chan… what’s Kise-kun doing?”
Yuzuha slowly pulled out her phone.
A mischievous grin appeared on her face.
“Who knows?”
The microphone squealed slightly.
Kise looked like his soul was physically separating from his body.
“I-I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY…”
“TELL US KISE-KUN!”
“WHAT IS IT?!”
“I-I…”
His voice became microscopic.
“Huh?”
“He what?”
Kise inhaled so hard his shoulders shook.
Then—
“I LOVE SHIROGANE YUZUCCHI-SENPAI!!!”
Silence.
Complete silence.
The gym froze.
Even the teachers froze.
A second later—
“WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!!!!!”
The entire gym exploded.
“WHAT IS HE SAYING?!”
“SHIROGANE YUZUCCHI?!WHO IS SHE?”
“THE BASKETBALL CLUB MANAGER.”
“KISE-SENPAI IS INSANE—”
One of the basketball club first-years looked emotional.
“Kise-senpai is so amazing…”
Nakamura stared at him in disbelief.
“…Kise finally lost it.”
“KISE!!THAT'S THE SPI(R)IT!! DO YOU(R) BEST!!” Hayakawa screamed supportively.
“A-AH?!”
Aina violently grabbed Yuzuha’s shoulders.
“YUZU-CHAN WHY IS HE SAYING IT HERE?!”
Yuzuha, meanwhile, was calmly filming everything.
“AND WHY ARE YOU RECORDING THIS?!”
Kise gripped the mic harder.
“And… AND…”
Yesterday’s memory replayed in his head.
“Oh, and you better tell them this too.”
“What MORE?!”
“The fangirls can fuck off.”
“I CAN’T SAY THAT!”
Kise slowly turned toward the fangirls.
Completely dead inside.
“THE FANGIRLS CAN FUCK OFF.”
The scream that left the girls nearly shattered the windows.
“EEEEHHHHHHHH?!”
Several teachers almost choked.
Takeuchi, the basketball coach, immediately started marching toward the stage.
“OI KISE WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?! GET DOWN HERE!”
But before the chaos could continue—
A laugh echoed through the gym.
Clear.
Loud.
Real.
Everyone froze again.
Kise’s eyes widened instantly.
Yuzuha was laughing.
Not her smug smile.
Not that mocking little grin she always used when teasing people.
She was genuinely laughing.
Hard.
So hard she bent over holding her stomach, shoulders shaking uncontrollably.
Tears gathered in the corners of her eyes.
Aina stared at her in complete shock.
Because nobody—
Nobody—
Had ever seen Shirogane Yuzuha laugh like that before.
Kise completely forgot how to breathe.
His face slowly turned red.
His heartbeat slammed violently against his ribs.
Again.
Again.
Again.
He made her laugh.
Not smirk.
Not scoff.
Laugh.
For real.
“OI OI OI— YUZUHA-SAN IS (L)AUGHING?!” Hayakawa yelled.
“SOMEONE GET A CAMERA!”
Nakamura shouted.
“DID KISE_KUN REALLY CURSE OUT US?!BECAUSE OF HER??!!”
“HE DID!”
Meanwhile, some fangirls had started crying dramatically.
“So love really changes a man…”
“So beautiful…”
“So manly…”
Kise looked at Yuzuha again.
Still laughing.
Still wiping tears from her eyes.
And suddenly—
Something inside him snapped.
The embarrassment?
Gone.
Fear?
Gone.
Dignity?
Already dead.
He grabbed the microphone again.
“ALSO—”
“THERE’S MORE?!!”
“IF ANY OF YOU CONFESS TO ME AFTER THIS—”
A dramatic pause.
“I’M FORWARDING IT TO MY GIRLFRIEND.”
“GIRLFRIEND?!”
“I THOUGHT THIS WAS A CONFESSION?!”
“HE BECAME A DEVIL—”
Yuzuha almost fell over laughing again.
Kise kept going.
“AND STOP LEAVING LOVE LETTERS IN MY LOCKER!”
“STOP CRYING WHEN I WALK PAST!”
“ONE OF YOU BARKED AT ME LAST WEEK!”
The gym lost its mind.
“KISE STOP TALKING—”
“COACH, I’M CURING PARASOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS!”
“AND SOME OF Y’ALL NEED THERAPY!”
“AND ONE MORE THING”
“TO EVERY WHO THOUGHT THEY STILL HAD A CHANCE AFTER HER GRADUATION—”
“GET DOWN HERE YOU STUPID BLOND MENACE—”
A familiar voice , a familiar accent suddenly echoed through the gym.
Kise froze instantly.
That voice—
He turned his head.
“KASAMATSU-SENPAI?! WHAT ARE YOU—”
WHACK.
A flying kick sent Kise rolling dramatically down the stage stairs.
“OWWW…”
Kise weakly raised his head from the floor.
A shadow loomed over him.
Moriyama.
Smiling like a man moments away from murder.
“MORIYAMA-SENPAI?!”
Moriyama immediately grabbed his collar and started shaking him violently.
“HOW DARE YOU.”
“H-HUH?!”
“HOW DARE YOU CONFESS BEFORE ME?!”
“EEEHHHH?!”
“AND THIS MANLY TOO?!”
“Kobori, hold me back before I kill him.”
Kise turned in horror.
“KOBORI-SENPAI WHY ARE YOU ALL HERE?!”
“We came to check on you guys after the ceremony.”
Kobori sighed.
“…Though this was definitely unexpected.”
Kasamatsu looked one second away from another kick.
“You absolute idiot…”
“He absolutely needs beating up”
“Hah—He is absolutely in love…”
Meanwhile…
“U-Umm… Yuzu-chan…”
Aina leaned closer nervously.
“They’re staring at you REALLY hard…”
The fangirls nearby were absolutely spiraling.
“Why HER?!”
“She’s so boring!”
“She’s ugly— no wait she’s not—”
“Her voice is weird–no wait its not—”
“She’s barely even a C-cup!”
“She’s scary!”
“She’s too calm!”
“She probably manipulated him somehow!”
“But she smells nice tho...”
A dangerous smile slowly spread across Yuzuha’s face.
The kind that always meant trouble.
She finally looked directly at them.
“…Go cry about it.”
.....
“Losers.”

That was a great match, Mitsuki thought as she watched the game between Rakuzan and Shutoku.
Shutoku had lost with a 16-point difference.
Her eyes followed the green-haired boy as he bowed to the opposing team. She zoomed in on his sorrowful expression.
She definitely didn’t like seeing that look on her favorite person.
With a quiet sigh, she turned and walked toward the exit until she reached her motorcycle. Sitting on it, she waited for the team to come out.
Well… the weather’s nice at least.
Leaning against the handle, she rested her cheek on her palm, thinking about the game.
Akashi has definitely changed… his playstyle too. Back in Teiko, he played for the team. Now… he makes everyone play for him.
“My orders are absolute”… seriously? Isn’t that kinda… cringe?
“Momoi-san? What are you doing here?”
Takao’s voice pulled her back to reality.
She put on a closed-eye smile and waved at them, trying to ignore the redness in their eyes.
“Hi, everyone. That was a great match!”
She tried to lighten the mood, but the heavy aura surrounding them was stronger than she expected.
“Well…”
She got off the bike and stepped closer to the green-haired boy. Turning to the captain, she pointed at him.
“Otsubo-senpai, can I borrow him for tonight ?”
The entire team—including Midorima—froze.
“HUH?!”
“Wow… perfect sync.”
“B-b-borrow me? What do you mean, Mitsuki?!” Midorima stuttered, his face completely red.
“I need you to come somewhere with me,” she said with an angelic smile.
“W-where? I don’t want to go.” He turned his head away, adjusting his glasses, already imagining trouble casue this girl doesn't make trouble.
She IS the trouble.
“Eeeh? Come on, it won’t hurt.” She pouted.
Her eyes suddenly dropped to his hand.
“By the way… what’s that? A piece of shogi? Why do you have it?”
Midorima opened his hand.
“Today’s lucky item is—”
Before he could finish, she snatched it.
“Hey! What are you doing, nanodayo?!”
She jumped back onto her bike.
“Now you don’t have a choice but to come with me.”
She waved the piece in her hand with a mischievous grin.
“Mitsuki, I’m not in the mood for your games. Give it back—”
He stopped mid-sentence.
She had hidden it… inside her bra.
Between in her tits
Midorima’s jaw dropped. So did everyone else’s.
“Now come get it if you want.”
“OI?!”
“Come with me and I’ll give it back.” She handed him an extra helmet.
After a moment of internal error, he sighed and accepted, glancing at his teammates. Otsubo simply waved him off, equally flustered.
“…We won’t die, right? You don’t even have a license.”
She narrowed her eyes.
“Hop on. You won’t die.”
Reluctantly, he got on.
“Don’t you want to hold me? You might fall,” she teased.
“There's no need for that” he said stiffly. “I won't fall.”
She revved the engine hard.
He lurched forward and instinctively grabbed her waist.
“See? I told you.” she said sardonically.
“Oi, you definitely did that on purpose!!”
“Well, everyone” she called back to the team “I'll return him in two hours. Bye for now. Make sure to rest!”
The team stood frozen, equal parts shocked and flustered by her sheer boldness. It wasn't like it was the first time, but it still somehow managed to catch them off guard every single time.
One by one, they slowly raised their hands in a dazed wave.
Midorima tried to loosen his grip around her waist, but she revved again and killed any chance of that.
She weaved between cars with the ease of someone who'd been doing it for years, clearly enjoying every second of it.
After a fast ride and midorima holding her leather jacket for his dear life , they finally stopped.
“We’re here.”
She turned off the engine and pulled off her helmet, shaking her hair loose.
She knocked lightly on the glass of his helmet, signaling him to take it off.
Midorima hesitated for a second before doing so, handing it to her. She placed it back on the bike.
“Now, let’s go.”
“Where?”
“Just follow me.”
She turned and started walking up a narrow set of stairs hidden between the trees. Midorima followed, curiosity quietly building inside him.
The stairs led them to a small wooden platform—almost like a secluded arbor—tucked in the middle of the forest.
The moment he saw it, his eyes widened.
"You gotta watch this , shinny"
“Stop calling me that!”
“Eh? Haven’t you already gotten used to it?”
Midorima followed her gaze, taking in the view.
His eyes widen.
The city stretched out beneath them, glowing under the night sky. Countless lights painted the streets in soft colors, and above it all, the moon hung calmly—almost within reach.
Just looking at it… made his mind feel lighter.
“I always come here when I’m down,” Mitsuki said, her voice softer than before.
She stepped closer to the edge, resting her arms against the fence.
“…When did you find this place?”
“Two years ago.”
He paused.
“Two years ago… you mean—”
“Yeah.” She didn’t look at him. “After I got discharged from the hospital, I started riding around a lot. One day, I just… found it.”
A small pause.
“Not many people know about this place. Watching this view… it calms me down.”
Midorima stayed silent, his eyes still fixed on the city.
“…It does,” he admitted. “But… why did you bring me here?”
She shrugged lightly.
“I thought you might need some air.”
“Ah… I really crave a cigarette right now.”
She pulled one out of her pocket and lit it, ignoring the look he gave her.
“You ride motorcycles and smoke… are you really a high schooler?” he said, frowning. “Besides, you know it’s illegal. Especially for someone studying law.”
She let out a slow breath, smoke curling into the air.
“Give me a break,” she muttered. “People our age do way worse. Some of them ruin lives and don’t even give a shit about it . At least I’m not hurting anyone by smoking.”
Her words hung in the air.
And suddenly—
That memory from two years ago flashed through Midorima’s mind.
That incident… the one that changed everything for her.
His chest tightened.
The feeling turned sharp, like the cold night air had filled his lungs too quickly, forcing him to cough.
Mitsuki glanced at him—and without warning, blew smoke straight into his face.
“What the— cough—are you doing?!”
“I had no choice,” she said simply. “You were thinking about the past again.”
He froze slightly.
“…How did you know?”
“It’s written all over your face.”
Then, without another word, she hopped up onto the fence and sat there, facing him.
“Let’s just chill for now, hm?” she said, offering a small smile. “No bad thoughts.”
She lifted the cigarette to her lips—
—and it disappeared from her fingers.
Midorima had taken it.
Without a word, he walked over and threw it into a nearby trash can beside the arbor.
Mitsuki stared at him, a twitching smile on her face and a visible nerve pulsing at her temple.
“…What are you doing?”
“I told you to stop,” he said firmly, walking back toward her. “It’s not good. For either of us.”
He glanced up at her position on the fence.
“And get down. It’s dangerous to sit like that.”
She tilted her head slightly.
“No can do"
She produced another one from her pocket.
Gone.
Same as the first.
"OI"
“I told you to stop,”
"I need to keep my mouth busy dude"
Suddenly a light bulb apeared above her head.
then she smirked.
“Fine. I will.”
Midorima blinked in surprise.
“…That easily?”
“If you keep my mouth busy.”
“…What?”
“You can use your fingers —” she tilted her head “— or your lips. Or—”she glanced downward — “you know....”
Midorima stared at her.
Error 404
“WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!”
“Eeeh?" She pouted
“WHY ARE YOU DISAPPOINTED?! DID YOU ACTUALLY EXPECT ME TO SAY YES?!???”
"I mean...why not?"
She pushed her lower lip out in an exaggerated pout, blinking up at him with faux wounded eyes.
He clenched his teeth , Red blush all over his face.
This girl…
"Then give my cigarette back.”
“No!”
“Fine”
She said lightly.
“If you won't give it back—”
Her hand shot out.
His glasses were gone.
She was fast. Of course she was — she was just as athletic as him, and she'd aimed for the one thing he hadn't been guarding.
“Oi! Give those back!”
He stepped closer carefully, acutely aware that one careless move could send both Mitsuki and his glasses over the edge of the fence. He needed to be quick. Precise.
“Give me my cigarette first.”
“No.”
“Then no.”
He closed the remaining distance in one measured step, then reached — arms long enough, height advantage wide enough — and snatched his glasses back in a clean, swift motion.
He exhaled.
Thank god.
He put them back on and looked at her.
Mitsuki hadn't moved. She was still sitting on the fence, watching him — and there was something different in her expression now. A shadow had fallen over her eyes, soft and unreadable.
“…You really…”
Before he could finish—
She suddenly grabbed his shirt and pulled him toward her.
Their faces inches apart—
“You are so damn cute.”
—and then her lips pressed against his.
For a moment, neither of them moved.
The city lights stretched out below them, indifferent and glittering. The moon didn't shift. The wind had gone still.
Midorima stood frozen — not from reluctance, but from the kind of shock that roots you in place before your mind catches up to what's happening. His glasses had gone slightly askew. His hands hovered uselessly at his sides.
Mitsuki's grip on his shirt didn't loosen.
The kiss was soft. Barely anything, by most measures — just the press of her lips against his, unhurried, like she wasn't running from it.
Mitsuki’s grip on his shirt tightened slightly as she leaned in just enough to keep the kiss steady—not forceful, but bold… undeniably her.
His eyes slowly widened behind his glasses.
He could feel his heartbeat pounding loudly in his chest—far louder than anything around them.
After a few seconds that felt much longer than they actually were, she pulled back just slightly
“…See?” she whispered as she licked her lips ,a faint smirk on her lips.
“That works better than cigarettes.”
Midorima stood there, completely stunned—face burning red, words stuck in his throat.
“…Y-you—”
But for once, even he couldn’t finish his sentence.
And Mitsuki?
She just smiled like she had won.
♥︎Bonus — The Next Day
The gym door slid open—
—and the moment Midorima stepped inside, everything went silent.
Every single eye turned toward him.
“…What?”
A second of silence.
Then—
“GET HIM!!”
Before he could even react, the entire team rushed at him.
“OI—WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” he snapped, trying to keep his balance as they surrounded him.
“WHERE WERE YOU LAST NIGHT?!”
“WHAT DID SHE DO TO YOU?!”
“WHY YOU OUT OF ALL PEOPLE?!”
“YOU’RE NOT EVEN THAT INTERESTING!!”
“STOP TALKING ALL AT ONCE, NANODAYO!!”
Takao leaned in way too close, squinting suspiciously.
“…So? What happened?”
He looked away.
“…Nothing.”
“LIAR!!”
Miyaji suddenly grabbed his shoulder.
“More importantly—what about your lucky item?!”
Midorima froze for a split second.
“…I got it back.”
A collective gasp filled the gym.
“And?” Takao pushed. “Where is it now?”
“…I put it back in my shogi set.”
Silence.
Then—
“ARE YOU INSANE?!”
“THAT THING SHOULD BE KEPT IN A MUSEUM!!”
“AS AN INTERNATIONAL TREASURE!!”
“IN A GLASS CASE!!”
“WITH MAXIMUM SECURITY!!”
Midorima adjusted his glasses, clearly irritated.
“It’s just a lucky item—”
“JUST?!”
Before the chaos could escalate further—
a familiar voice cut through the noise.
“Yeah. You really should’ve kept it there.”
Everyone froze.
Slowly… they turned toward the door.
Mitsuki stood there, leaning against the frame, arms crossed—looking way too proud of herself.
Midorima stiffened instantly.
“…What are you doing here?”
She smirked slightly.
“Just came to check if you’re still alive after the things we had done .” and she winked.
The team looked between them—
—and then collectively lost their minds again.
“WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT?!”
“WHY IS SHE ACTING LIKE THAT?!”
“MIDORIMA YOU TRAITOR!!”
"I HOPE YOU DIE"
"MIDORIMA , YOU BASTARD WHAT DID YOU GUYS DO?"
“SHUT UP!!”
And Mitsuki?
She just laughed quietly… clearly enjoying every second of it.
