Notes from a Meditation, 5/25/2017
It’s been a while since I’ve done any sort of proper meditation, let alone tarot reading. I just haven’t been in the mood or had the energy for it.
But tonight I felt like I should “get back in the game.” So I cleaned my room and set up my space.
I’ve also neglected my stones, but tonight I sensed a few of them wanted to come out and play. So with my stones, two tarot decks, and one oracle deck, I just… went along with it.
Feeling which stones wanted to be placed in a certain way, which decks went where and how many times to be shuffled (only my oracle deck needed to tell me something). And my trusty candle.
Then I started meditating. It was difficult to get past the song in my head but I managed. And I immediately saw a hand (cut off from the wrist) reach down, as though to help me up from my sitting position.
I took it and found myself in a well lit place. Outside or indoors, I couldn’t tell, as the scenery wasn’t important, but there was a lot of light browns and tans.
I look at the person attached to the hand and felt this was not the first time I had met him. He reminded me of Thackeray Binx from “Hocus Pocus”. Same light, slightly too big shirt and loose pants. Except a little older; mature muscling in the jaw.
He never let go of my hand. In fact he smiled and squeezed it.
“I feel like I know you,” I said.
“Yes,” he replied. “There’s something I want to show you.”
He led me over to a table set to slightly lower than waist-height. Like a wood worker’s table. Saw dust, pencil, maybe a ruler. He laid out a large, scrolled up piece of paper, construction paper.
“Where do I know you?” I asked. He was familiar, we had a connection, but it wasn’t romantic.
He looked at me again and gave me sly smile.
I gasped and put my free hand to my mouth. “You’re my brother! My soul-brother!” I smiled and squee’d.
My brother nodded.
And then I knew: I hadn’t seen him since the late 1700s (17060s-1770s) when he last was human (hence his wardrobe), but he had seen me once since then.
I was so excited on finally meeting someone from my soul-family that it was extremely hard for me to concentrate.
But when I did, I saw what was written on the paper. It was a map of the sub-division I’ve been keeping on eye for house hunting. It had two Xs on it; one on either side of the map. Houses that would be best for me to live in.
I felt my eyes connecting more with the mark on the left side.
“You are so close,” my brother said.
I nodded. I’ve been feeling it, like a place that had been dormant for a while and someone comes in and starts turning on the lights. Soon they’ll turn on more systems than just the equipment that helps them to see.
A man came in, then. He wore clothing similar to my brother’s, though not as casual. I didn’t know him and was suspicious, but he walked on and put his hand on my brother’s shoulder. His mentor, as I understood it.
Then another figure came in, this one I recognised. The Universe led me a little away from my brother.
“You will find it,” The Universe said.
“I know. I can feel it.”
“You should have gone out tomorrow.”
I felt dread creep in. “I’m going to the zoo with friends tomorrow.”
“You still should have gone.”
“I’m sorry. I don’t know how to fix this. I’ll be going out on Saturday to look at places.”
“Saturday will have to do.”
An image of static comes to me. Though Friday would have been a clearer day (not weather related), Saturday still has a possible chance of finding it.
“I’m sorry,” I repeated. “I didn’t really know.”
The Universe pats my should and turns to lead me back to my brother. “It’s okay,” he said. “Go have fun.” Then he winks.
I mean, I know he’s The Universe, but he knows something. He clever.
Amen… 🍃🍂🍃
“When you touch the celestial in your heart, you will realize that the beauty of your soul is so pure, so vast and so devastating that you have no option but to merge with it. You have no option but to feel the rhythm of the universe in the rhythm of your heart.” - Amit Ray
…there are three claims in the [parapsychology] field which, in my opinion, deserve serious study, with one being that young children sometimes report details of a previous life, which upon checking turn out to be accurate and which they could not have known about in any other way than reincarnation.“
