I don't feel so good
I blame all the take out over the past few days
Confrontation l Steven&Marie
“Well I had to pull out all my tricks, if I’m going to get you back.” He took her hand, and kissed it lightly, pulling her chair out for her. “Sit.”
She nodded slightly and sat down on the chair he had pulled out for her. "I hope you do know you're not off the hook yet. There's going to be a lot of grovelling you'll have to do." She turned her head to look at him, raising her eyebrows slightly.
I will reply in the morning bc I should sleep even though I'm not tired. I'm meant to be going out at like 9 or some ridiculous time like that
ooc good night
Confrontation l Steven&Marie
He smiled, and grabbed her hand leading her up the trail to where they were having dinner. Once they got there, there was table set for two, with candles lit, and her favorite meal set in the middle of the table. He had music playing softly in the background, and in front of them was the view of the whole city. “Surprise.”
"Oh, Steve. It's beautiful." She let go of his hand, walking over to the table, smiling slightly. "My favourite as well as a view of the city and nice music? You're doing a good job so far." She smiled at him, holding her hand out to him.
Confrontation l Steven&Marie
He laughed a little at how her last statement still managed to sound sexual. “Yea, alright.” He kissed her cheek lightly, and started walking to his car, with the box, placing it back in his trunk. He went home, and decided to make her, her favorite food, and pack it up in a picnic basket, once it was finished. He also thought it was a good idea to get freshen up a bit, and change into something a little nicer. while he was doing that, he had called someone to set up for a dinner, out of the town, over where you could see the whole city.
After about a hour or so he had called Marie requesting her presence, and told her where to meet him at. He made sure that he got there before her, so that he could add the finishing touches. Then he went to the entrance of the trail, and waited for her to arrive. Once she got there he smiled at her, opening her door and holding out his hand. “Don’t look at me like that. I’m not going to kill you or anything.”
When he called her to tell her where to meet him, she grew slightly anxious. She still changed her clothes, put on a nice dress for him and did her make up. She was kind of worried about it, but she couldn't change whatever had happened nor could she change what he had already planned for them. She actually liked the idea of being surprised with something.
When Marie arrived and Steven helped her out of the car, she rolled her eyes at him. "You've brought me to a very secluded place. You can understand where my worries come from." She locked her car and put the keys in her bag, looking up at him. "So, what now?"

Confrontation l Steven&Marie
“I Steven Edward Matthews, promise to never cheat on Marie insert middle name Wexler again.” He said with his hand placed over his chest, smiling at her. “Really I promise.”
She smiled slightly, kissing his forehead gently. "Thank you. Now go. Go do whatever you have to do and let me know when you want me."
Confrontation l Steven&Marie
He smiled a little, and nodded. “Right. Well I still have to leave to set everything up.” He shook his head. “And I’m not going to tell you, it’s a secret; but I will say dress nice.”
"I'll dress nice if you make me a promise." She turned to look at him, playing with his fingers. "If you do this again, or I do, that's it. That's over. Because there's only so many times I can take this." She bit her lip gently, looking up at him.
Confrontation l Steven&Marie
Steven pursed his lips. “I like how you automatically think I’m talking about sex, but I’m not.” He nodded. “Yea, alright. I will.” He glanced over at her, before looking straight again. “I guess I should go then.”
Marie laughed slightly, covering her mouth. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't laugh. You can't go yet. Not until I know how you want to make this up to me right now. Because if it's not sex, then yes. I want you to do it now." She laughed at how she had phrased it, shaking her head before whispering, "Sounds like I'm talking about sex though."
Confrontation l Steven&Marie
He couldn’t help the flare of jealousy that rippled through when he heard her say she was thinking about sleeping with someone else. This is probably how she felt, and then he felt stupid because he couldn’t honestly be mad if she did. He decided to sit next to her, and he placed a hand on her thigh lightly. “Does this mean you forgive me?” He asked cautiously. “Because I want to make it up to you now.” He said looking over at her.
Marie shook her head, tilting her head back so that she was looking at the ceiling. "Not yet. Not with sex. That won't make this better." She sighed, wiping the tears from her eyes. "You can take that box with you when you go though. I haven't decided if I want it back yet. So you should look after it for me whilst I decide."
Confrontation l Steven&Marie
“No. I wouldn’t sleep with her. Why make the same mistake twice?” He scratched he back of his head. “I really care about you too, and if you wanted to throw things at me, then you could. I mean it would only be fair, and it still wouldn’t amount to what I did to you.” He looked over at her, and grabbed one of her hand lightly. “Yea I know, and I’m sorry.”
"Good. Because if this ever happens again, you won't get the chance to make it right. That will be it." She shook her head, running a hand through his hair. "But I couldn't. Because it'd hurt me. Which is why I was ashamed at myself for thinking about sleeping with someone else to get back at you. But I couldn't bring myself to even think it through." Marie rubbed her nose with her free hand, tears stinging her eyes. "Asshole." She pressed her lips to his forehead, kissing it gently before leaning back against the sofa, staring at his hand holding hers.
Confrontation l Steven&Marie
He nodded. “Ok. I can understand that.” He thought for a minute about what he was going to do, to make it up to her. “She didn’t break- up the relationship, I allowed her to, and I feel horrible for breaking your heart like that. I didn’t want to do, and I didn’t plan on doing. You really mean everything to me, and even if you don’t want me back, I would still like if we could be friends.”
"Would you do it again? If you could do it over, would you still sleep with her?" She almost didn't want to hear the answer, just in case. But she thought it could help, so she'd try to cope with whatever the answer was. She looked up at him, biting her lip. "Well, that depends on whether you try to make it up to me or not. If you do, then maybe. And if you don't, then maybe. I don't know, Steven.. I do really care about you, but this has just messed it all up. And I don't know how to feel anymore. I fully expected to want to throw things at you, but I think that'd make me feel worse for trying to hurt you." She shook her head, wiping the back of her hand over her eyes to prevent any tears from falling. "You're an ass, you know that?"
Confrontation l Steven&Marie
He walked over to where she was sitting, and sat in front of her. “Honestly I don’t know what to say; besides sorry. But that’s lame, and overrated. But I am sorry for doing this to you, and you have very right to be angry at him, and you don’t have to forgive; but I’m asking for it because I love you. I really do, even though this current situation doesn’t makes it seems like I don’t. But I don’t say anything I don’t mean.”
Marie shook her head, opening and closing her mouth as she tried to think of something to say. "You.. I.." She sighed, rubbing the heels of her hands on her eyes. "Look, I'm not going to make this easy for you. You cheated on me, I'm not just going to say we can wipe the slate clean and start over because we can't. I'm not going to say that I can just forget about it, I can't. But.. Just prove to me how sorry you are. I don't know how you'll do that, but if you really are sorry, you'll find a way?" She looked at him, fiddling with her fingers. "I just don't know what to say. Because we both know that whoever she is, she's going to think she's so great for fucking a teacher. When really all she did was break up a relationship. But she's probably proud of that, which is the worst thing."
Confrontation l Steven&Marie
He looked at her, taking in her appearance. It had seemed that she had been crying, and it was him who caused it. He held up her box and nodded. “You left this and I thought I should bring it since I was coming over.” He said, biting his lip afterwards. Seeing her so sad looking, literally ripped him to shreds, and knowing he was the reason why, was enough for him to die right there and then.
Opening the door wider, Marie took the box from him, walking back to the living room. She placed the box on the table, sitting down on the sofa, pulling her knees up to her chest. Sniffing, she turned the TV off, not wanting the distraction. She just wanted to get this over with, find out what he wanted to say and see how she felt after that. "So, what do you have to say for yourself?" She looked up at him, narrowing her eyes slightly.
And make your class look better with their grades! All my teachers were really good about giving me time to make up all the work. I was seriously so thankful.
Exactly! It's a win-win. You needed the time. It wouldn't have been any other way.
Confrontation l Steven&Marie
Steven sighed, running a hand through his hair. He had no idea of what to say to her when he got there. He honestly felt terrible for doing this to her, and he knew no matter what he said there was a chance that Marie wasn’t going to take him back. He grabbed his keys, and the box of things she had packed, and walked out to his car. After opening the trunk, he placed the box inside, and closed it, walking around and getting in the car, driving over to her place.
Once he got there he parked into the driveway, and grabbed the box from the trunk. He walked up to her door and knocked on it lightly, waiting for her to answer.
Marie curled up on the sofa, staring blankly at the television as it played away to itself. She had considered just forgetting about it all and telling him to leave her alone, not to come and see her. But she knew that wouldn't fix anything, it'd just leave everything up in the air for them to feel awkward to talk to each other. She was angry, that she wouldn't deny, but she was mostly sad. Knowing what he'd done when he apparently felt so strongly about her hurt, he'd broken her trust and she didn't know what to say about that. Only that it hurt her so much, that he'd treat her so badly.
When she heard the doorbell ring, she considered not answering it, so he would have to stay there, waiting. But she knew she couldn't just leave him outside without her neighbours asking questions the next day. She walked to the door, opening it slightly.
That’s true. Hopefully, next time they’ll keep upping their grade and then have a huge reason to rejoice. No…The last time I got an A- was the week after I came back from getting out of the hospital after the accident.
And then you won't have to worry about them for being happy over D's anymore, they'll be happy over B's and possibly A's. And that's understandable.
