I do feel a little conflicted a the amount of people who seem to have a shame issue with this kink, and if I'm feeding something I shouldn't be. Of course I wanna see our lil corner of Tumblr thrive, but like is it many of you who feel awful about liking this in the clarity after? I never have, not even when I started, but maybe I would've if I'd started much earlier than 3 and a half years ago.

Are you needing better aftercare? I said this on my fakerbreaker blog but seek out gender euphoria when you're done if you need to, some affirmations, your favourite clothes, paint your nails (my audience is mostly transfem, you probably know best what's likely to help).

I know shame over our own kinks can be a lot. For me it was/is my little side. I hear what they call people for that, even in "progressive" spaces, I have to hide some of my self in a community I once wholeheartedly called home. This is a prevalent dynamic in one of my relationships, and much like some here discover they're not as binary as they thought, I found what I can only describe as partial age regression through it. I guess some of what helped was time, talking to other littles, seeing it's all actually very chill. I do still feel a little attacked when I see that misinformation, though, it's kind of raw.

Ny point is, manageable doses of shame can be hot, but not having it affect you in your vanilla life is kink 101. Likewise, there's a fine line to be careful of between experiementing with variations in presentation/HRT for example and using those things to self harm. This is a risky game if you don't know your limits, as much as I'm comfortable enough in mine that it barely feels like edgeplay anymore.

Just prioritise self care, it just feels a little disconcerting some of the things I read
