It always surprises me how the design in my head is transformed by the rug materials into a more abstract version in a way that is better than I imagined and hoped for. It’s addicting. The quality of the backing and yarns goes a long way interacting with light and shadows to elevate the design.

Rug Update 🦋

Had to put the other rug on hold all the color was overwhelming me. The initial layout of this one subject to change. This is a Finnish backing, made so the knots don’t show.
