Only ten minutes left until closing time. Aigis has already got all of her work done, but unlike her fellow librarians, who are all getting ready to leave and close down the library for the day, the bookworm decides to wait for the last young female costumer who had the most books in use for the day finally leave the table, reading a novel as she does so.
Though every once in a while she would look up and watch the other blonde girl diligently flip through the pages of one book or another and would more than often jot down notes. Aigis can tell from where she is standing that they had already got more than half of her notebook filled, and those stacks of copies look fairly thick.
It seemed more like that Aigis was admiring the girl, students who genuinely work-hard on their studies are a rarity these days.
In most days at work, Aigis usually overhears most high schoolers complain about anything school related, some of them would even just go to the library and takes naps rather than actually doing their homework. Honestly, it saddens Aigis how they fail to see the value of knowledge.
Her ears perked up ar the sound of a chair being moved, and immediately, her gaze returns to the customer. Jugding from the reaction she's observing, the girl must've not realized how long she has been busy wirh her notes.
And this is now her cue to start reshelving those books. The other blonde senses Aigis’ approach and suddenly tenses up and started apologizing to the young librarian. Aigis could only tilt her jead at this, a commom reaction that you can get from this girl.
The offer to help her clean up confused her though. As an employee of this library, she's not suppose to let a customer,a person that she's suppose to serve, meddle with her work, right?
“I appreciate the thought, but I cannot allow you to do that...” She said monotonously, making her sentence unintentionally come off rather cold. She then picks up a stack of books thats tall enough to reach her chin from her waist, and stars heading for the aisles.
“Thank yoy for using Brieve Central Library today. Please do not forget your belongings.”
