MULP: Sceptre of the Sun - Issue #4 US & Canadian release

Thanks to Improper Books, we’re delighted to announce MULP: Sceptre of the Sun Issue #4 is now available in the United States and Canada. The fourth instalment of our creator-owned Pulp adventure set in a world of mice, MULP: Sceptre of the Sun Issue #4 is now available from all good comic shops on, and can be ordered via the Diamond Code: SEP171705.

With Jack and Moreau lost, and the others captured by a tribe of Flying-Mice, the situation is looking precarious for our adventurous rodents in the penultimate part of this five issue story arc. But is this just the beginning of their troubles, as they close in on the Sceptres whereabouts?

MULP at Bristol Comic & Zine Fair 2017

We’re delighted to be attending Bristol Comic & Zine Fair, which this year is taking place on Saturday, 7th October, at The Station, Bristol. We’ll have the brand new MULP: Sceptre of the Sun Issue #4 with us, as well as the first three issues, plus copies of KNIGHT & DRAGON, by Matt Gibbs & Bevis Musson.

MULP at Thought Bubble 2017

We’re thrilled to be attending Thought Bubble, in Leeds, which this year is taking place on Saturday & Sunday, 23-24th September. You can find us in the ComiXology/Millennium Square Marquee, on Tables 156-157. We’ll have the brand new MULP: Sceptre of the Sun Issue #4 with us, and you can find us sharing a table with our fellow Improper Books creators.

Alongside MULP, there will also be other all-ages fare, such as NIGHT POST, by Benjamin Read & Laura Trinder, and KNIGHT & DRAGON, by Matt Gibbs & Bevis Musson.

MULP: Sceptre of the Sun - Issue #4 UK Indie Release Dates

Improper Books are delighted to announce the upcoming UK release of MULP: Sceptre of the Sun Issue #4, by Matt Gibbs & Sara Dunkerton. The fourth instalment of their creator-owned Pulp adventure set in a world of mice, MULP: Sceptre of the Sun Issue #4 will be available from supporting UK comic shops from Wednesday, 19th July 2017. It will also be making its convention debut at Cardiff Independent Comic Expo, and then later in the year at Thought Bubble in Leeds and the Lakes International Comic Art Festival in Kendal.

Sceptre of the Sun follows the exploits of Jack Redpath and Vicky Jones as they attempt to unravel a mystery surrounding an ancient stone tablet unearthed during an archaeological excavation in Egypt. This tablet is the first marker on an adventure that sees them racing around the world in search of a legendary treasure.

This latest instalment, part four of a five issue story arc, sees our heroic mice venturing deeper into the mysterious, tropical valley that they discovered hidden in the snow and ice of Antarctica. With Jack and Moreau seemingly lost, and the party captured by a tribe of Flying-Mice inhabiting the valley, the situation is looking precarious for our adventurous rodents... But is this just the beginning of their troubles, as they close in on the Sceptres whereabouts?
