Locked. Surprised, Jeff jiggled the knob a bit, then hit the door with his knee. “Oh no... Picky?... This is a part of your practical joke, right?”

Jeff was a bit reluctant to ask Lucas to keep him company while he worked on fixing an odd little gadget he found abandoned in the snow, but something inside him wanted a companion to chat with while he worked. Several hours later, Jeff found himself losing focus, vision blurring somewhat. As he blinked his eyes over and over, he felt more and more drowsy. “Hey, Lucas?...” he managed to mumble as he leaned back in his chair.

Lucas had been over at Jeff’s, he’d promise to study with the other and was fulfilling his promise. Books scattered around the table and some on the floor along with a few notes. 3 hours went by and it was taking its toll on Lucas. The blond yawned and leaned back, right into the side of Jeff. “I’m so tired…”

Jeff snorted as Lucas pressed into his side. After sorting his notes into a folder and placing it on top of his books to save desk space, he gave Lucas a pat on the head, running his fingers through his locks. “It’s only a little past midnight, Lucas. Have you never stayed up this late before?”

(╯°□°）╯: An unseen entity has thrown an object that nearly hit my muse and when looking for the object, they discover that an old rusty knife spinning on the ground nearby. (4)

(◣_◢) : Our muses investigate an area with a high number of UFO sightings and experience the phenomenon known as time loss. (5)

щ(ಥДಥщ) : Upon finding an old scrap of paper, you muse reads the strange words aloud and apparently summons some sort of evil entity. (6)

✖_✖ : Reports of demonic activity brings our muses to their location and after hours of no evidence, they finally discover a hidden room where what appears to be old blood and animal bones litter the floor. (8)
