This is unusual, you enter the dining room. It's lovely. That chandelier!

The kitchen is painted black, but they left the island as it was, for contrast. I wonder if the lamp pole will convey. That looks so cool.

The kitchen's large, too. Look at the gold accents. Love the armoire and unfitted pieces along the back wall.

The living room is currently behind the kitchen.

This is very nice. So cozy.

A new personal illustration for my portfolio. This one is a cover for a book that one of my best friends and I both loved when we were teenagers and still have  a soft spot for; Waywalkers, by Catherine Webb. The story messes around with mythology of various deities etc, including characters from Christian, Norse, and various other pantheons, so I wanted to create a cover inspired by religious imagery in stained glass windows but incorporate language, objects and symbols which reflect the story. If you look closely you can see; Wiccan symbols, Norse runes, Egyptian hieroglyphs, Russian letters, and Nepali letters.
