Darkiplier

Okay, I’ve seen a lot of posts on this and I feel as though I need to add my thoughts to it. 

Damien/Celine/ Darkiplier isn’t a good guy. That is the whole point of the video DAMIEN. 

At first I thought the same thing! I kept thinking “This proves that Dark is a good guy? Where is the connection to the Dark we see in ADWM? 

But there is!

When Celine says, “It’ll change you” (paraphrasing) she means it!

Of course, Damien in WKM and DAMIEN is super sweet and really just wants to know what the heck is going on most of the time, but at the end of DAMIEN? He changes. For the worse. 

More than that, Celine, whether she realises it or not, is slowly corrupting him as well, I believe. I believe that Celine is slowly but surely influencing him with her behaviour, as her anger towards Mark grows, so does Damien’s. 

Adding to that, now that Damien has finally accepted his role as Darkiplier, the villain, slowly he becomes that. 

Darkiplier isn’t a good guy. He is still very bad.

Damien vs Dark theory

The sad thing is, Darkiplier is still a BAD GUY.

He’s not Damien. As Mark said, Damien disappeared when Dark came into being. Only the WORST parts of Damien and Celine were fused into part of Dark’s makeup (plus house demon?). But Damien and Celine are GONE.

So Dark really is a villain, through and through, he’s exactly the villain that Actor Mark wanted.

BUT he’s not the evilest villain.

ACTOR MARK is still MORE evil,

and we can only hope that once Dark finally GETS/kills him, he won’t then turn to the rest of the world and be the only Evil left, with no focal point anymore,

and No competition.

Damien spoilers.

I keep stumbling upon people who now think that Dark is good because of DAMIEN.

He isn’t. The whole point was that he became a ‘villain.’ Just because Mark is worse does not mean Dark is good.

He is the lesser of two evils, if you will.

Revenge and murder is not a good nor healthy path no matter how just it is in your eyes. It’s still murder. It’s still rage.

Celine said that this would change Damien forever.

Meaning, his good intentions will be washed away, which I feel was symbolized by the flood.

^ I still believe this is relevant. ^

Dark is not good. He never was.

i love in fics when people highlight on dark’s “auras.” when he’s angry, his aura flares up with more of a blaring red than blue. when he calms down and starts to think more clearly, his blue aura is more destinct. in certain situations, he’s both equally red and blue. maybe all blue sometimes, or all red, but i love when writers play around with it.

I’m not sure if I’m correct in this, but I’m also pretty sure they correspond with who might be in control at the moment?

Take for example in episode 4 of WKM, Celine is coloured red and Damien is coloured blue. Of course, Celine seems to be a lot more passionate than Damien, and so when Dark becomes angry it turns to her while when he calms down it comes back to Damien. 

I don’t know, just me thinking.
