Hearing about oc hate discourse that’s currently going on in the rpc, and I can’t say I’m surprised. Oc hate has always been a thing (especially towards female ocs), but hearing that it’s been getting worse is pretty sad and one of the reasons why people (including me) hesitate to post oc content or continue roleplaying their ocs.

If anyone’s genuinely curious about my whereabouts (which is like…1-3 people fhdjkfgef), I’m stuck in a weird place writing-wise?? I have some ideas for posts I want to make for lore and such, but when I try to draft them, I suddenly don’t want to do it. Not sure if that still counts as a writing slump, but that’s the best way I can describe my predicament

Despite that I’ve been here lurking. Just not making/reblogging posts considering I’m still in work hell and occupied with gaming (WuWa continues to have me in a chokehold). I know I’ve mentioned before about making changes here and when I’m back in full-swing I’ll be making retcons, rewriting posts, deleting posts, etc etc.

But yeah. That’s basically what’s going on right now.

I'm still stuck in a writing slump, and it'll stay like that for a bit longer. Partially because I'm doubting my roleplaying and writing abilities, but mostly because of positive changes happening.

I'm being promoted from cashier to bookkeeper, so I need to adjust my sleep schedule since I'll be working 5am-1pm shifts five days a week. This means I'll continue to be inactive until I get used to the new schedule. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous to start training next week, but I'm looking forward to the new changes.

Unfortunately I’ve decided to stick to being a cashier since it turns out bookkeeping is insanely overwhelming for me, and it’s too much pressure and stress since it’s dealing with money. 😔 I’m disappointed in myself, but thankfully management was understanding and they praised me for at least dipping my toes in. I’m thinking of changing my shifts to start mid-morning, but it depends on what’s available to me every week.

I’m still in a writing slump, but I know I plan on making changes and updates when I get back.
