There’s a yelp of surprise, whoever it was she REALLY doesn’t want to get on the bad side of them so without thinking twice she quickly backtracks, or rather falls backwards attempting to. 

“S-sorry I got lost! I’ll leave–” 

That’s what she’s trying to do anyway as she quickly scrambles to try and get back up on her feet. Usually her nerves are pretty steeled, but when you have someone yelling at you followed by a growl, it’s kind of hard to not panic.

Stepping out to where the annoying and unwanted human was sitting, the dragon gave a moment of thought if he was hungry or not before crossing his arms over his chest. This human is pretty small though they were actually the same height. 

“Listen well, lowly and dirty human!!” A huff as he looks down snidely. “I, the Great Dragon Anastasius Val Lamia, has decided to spare you’re pitiful and meaningless life. So be quick and get out of my cave.”

Was she mostly talking to herself? Probably. Was she aware that someone else could be there listening? Probably not. It’s just one of her many bad choices of speaking when she’s not aware of the current situation. Talk about stressful! She’ll probably be fine though.. eventually.. once she figures out what’s going on.

The outside world was so much nicer than the dingy cell. No barred windows or ugly grey concrete walls. The child is as happy as could be, holding their doll on warm arm as their other swings happily as they skip.
