“I’m fine just the way I am,” Sebastian scoffed, shrugging away from Rachel, trying not to wince too much as the pain shot through his arm. He’d warned before to take it easy, but he hadn’t listened. See I have all these ideas but then there’s this thing called law school that’s kicking my butt so I know I certainly couldn’t admin by myself like I used to at this point. Yeah, that timeline sounds about right.

Yeah, as a bitter kurt stan ™ I had a lot that kept me away from the latter half of the series - which is why I play my kurt the way i do lmao. Tbh I’ve always wanted to do a meta au where like, the characters are actors on a tv show, but the gag is that the plot of the fake show is very loosely defined, but it seemed too convoluted 

:) That could be interesting. I’ve tried creating rps so many times and only 1-2 out of more than a dozen ever really took off.

That’s why I like season 4 era redos. Partially because I couldn’t stomach watching seasons 5 and 6 lol. I think that’s the point that had the most potential for all the characters, and whenever I write fics that tends to be the route I take.

Not going to lie I legit gave up when they made Brody a gigolo. Only watched the last few eps of season 6 because of JGroff. Season 4 redos are awesome, I miss the season 1 I had way back when too.

Yeah, I guess so. I would really love something that like legit had a majority of the actual characters from the show in it again. I miss having those different kinds of relationships and expanding the characters outside of canon.

Rachel was honestly worried that Mike had stood her up when the clock signaled that he was running significantly late. After all, him asking her out in the first place had been completely unexpected. She’d spent the past two years pining over Finn and it had caused her to completely overlook anyone else. Then suddenly Mike was showing an interest in her and it took her by surprise. 

When he’d finally come running over apologizing about how his dad had delayed him, Rachel felt the knot in her stomach release and she let out a soft sigh of relief. A deep blush followed as his eyes went wide while he looked her up and down; it was certainly a confidence boost to know her efforts weren’t in vain. 

Shaking her head at his apologies, Rachel smiled, “It’s fine. Just don’t make a habit of it.” She assured him. “I’d really like to give this whole first date thing a shot too. After all, I did go through all the effort to look like this, it would be a shame for it to be wasted.”

Tina spent the next few minutes deciding on her order, then taking a post-it note from her desk to write it down on. Her handwriting was messy, but legible enough for either of them to read off while placing the order. She tilted her head when he hadn’t come back from the bathroom yet. “Hey, I’m all set if you wanna look at the menu!” she called out.

Hearing Tina’s voice declaring that she was done and that he could look at the menu, Jesse tightened his grip on the edge of the sink momentarily. “I’ll be out in a minute.” He called back, taking a moment to stare at his reflection, wondering just how they were going to manage this. After taking a few steadying breaths, he moved back to the bedroom and took the menu from her, debating on what he might not feel like an utter lead weight in his stomach.

“I’m so sorry!” Mike said quickly as he approached Rachel. He felt awful, he’d had everything planned, right to the second, but then his dad has interfered with his plans, one thing had led to another, and here he was, tail between his legs as he frantically tried to apologise for his tardiness. “There was this whole thing with my dad, he’s still going on about me going to medical school, and it turned into this big argument and….” he paused to take a breath, and his eyes looked over Rachel’s form as he trailed off. “Wow…” he breathed out, eyes widening as he took a moment to fully appreciate how stunning she looked, and now he felt even worse for keeping her waiting for so long.

“Doesn’t matter,” he added with a softer smile, “I’m really sorry for keeping you waiting, if you want to leave I’ll totally understand, but if you’re willing to give me a second chance, I’d really like to give this first date thing a second shot,”
