Look to your perfect Lord, and remember, you are complete in Him.
Charles Spurgeon (via graceandgracey)
As a believer in Jesus, you have certain privileges because you belong to Christ. When you chose Him, God put a blood line around you that the enemy cannot cross. As long as youâre keeping Him first place, you have a hedge of protection, a hedge of favor, a hedge of mercy surrounding you like a shield. When difficulties come, God says that because youâre His child, because you honor Him, even though that problem has formed, in the end it is not going to prosper. When itâs all said and done, itâs not going to harm you. God is going to turn it around and use it to your advantage. Thatâs your heritage as a believer!

Sound doctrine, without a love for Jesus Christ, ceases to be sound doctrine.

ââŠhe who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesusâ (Philippians 1:6, NIV)
Sometimes when God is doing a work in our lives, it can begin to feel a little uncomfortable. We may encounter people who are hard to get along with or have circumstances that seem beyond our control. When this happens, instead of complaining, getting sour or trying to change everything around you, why donât you look deep inside and say, âLord, thank You for doing a work in me.â See, Iâve learned that God is more interested in changing me than He is in changing my circumstances. If I choose to stay sour because Iâm not getting my way or discouraged because things arenât happening on my time table, thatâs going to keep me right where I am.
If you want to see change, if you want to see God open up new doors, the key is to bloom right where youâre planted. You canât wait until everything gets better before you decide to have a good attitude. You have to be the best that you can be right where you are. When you bloom where youâre planted, youâre allowing God to work in you, and He will be faithful to complete what Heâs started in you!
While we see things from this minute in time, God sees the whole picture.

The fear of moving forward is often obliterated by moving forward. Do it scared. â J.S.
Since Christ âalways lives,â he always intercedes. There is no Christian alive who has not had Christ mention his or her name to the Father.
