boggles my mind how often i see in rise and 12 crossover fics the rise family dynamics and rise splinter constantly lauded and even considered superior to the 12 version, and that the 12 universe should "learn a lesson" from them and then i actually watch rise only to find out that rise splinter is just awful. fanon has twisted these characters so much its insane to me.

rise splinter has canonically never celebrated his sons' birthdays and somehow 12 splinter is the abusive one. okay. so what 12 splinter is doing is wrong, but canonical child neglect (abuse) is, what, nothing?

also the 18 turtles are in no position to be teaching ANYTHING to ANYONE

Both Splinters aren't perfect but we can't deny that if you see both shows the 12'version it's clearly a little better that Rise,I mean I love him but it's obvious that in the start rottmnt Splinter didn't wanna hang out with his sons, i mean there's literally a episode where he lie to Donnie so he can go where he wanna do you tell me

And I know this because I watch both series so it's true what I'm saying

But I think that 12 Splinter have more hate for all the people who says that all that family are abusive when isn't true, this are the same people that "confirmed" that 12 Raph it's a horrible brother to Mikey when in season 1 episode 3 it's he that confort him after what happened with Bradford

Set in "If Jax wasn't a piece of shit" canon divergence

Ribbit and Jax stayed like that for atleast some minutes,the rabbit with that bow that makes hi-her more comfortable with herself, meanwhile the frog stare at her with a little smile in their face. But just like that Ribbit have an idea

-Hey- she starts making Jax to turned around and looking at them-I was thinking and we are just doing this if you are ready-The rabbit rises an eyebrow waiting for her to continue-But are you ready to tell this to someone else?-

The other girl stare to them thinking if she was ready or not, it was difficult talk to Ribbit about her past with her parents and now telling this to someone else!? Jax don't know what to think, she it's scared of what the others will think about her being trans but in the other hand Ribbit didn't laugh at her or mock her about how she feels about her identity. Instead they understand the feeling being a demigirl themselves so with that in mind it takes her courage and who better the second to know that the second demigirl in this place

She nods-Yeah I'm ready- Ribbit to hear that start to smile to her fondly-And who will be?-They ask to the rabbit who now have a determinated look-Guinere-

The frog smiles-You want me to bring her here?- Jax nod with a shy smile-Yes please-She nods meanwhile opens the door-I will see if they aren't busy- Ribbit says and close the door leaving Jax with her own mind

She doesn't know how much time passed but she hears the door opening again-Jax?-She hears Guinere calling her making the rabbit stare at them-Ribbit says you wanted to talk to me- she says softly as they sit on the bed-What happened?-

Jax remains silents for a moment while she thinks of how respond-I like the bow-The soldier toy says out of nowhere making the rabbit blush making the iris of her eyes expand making the yellow not noticeable

-Thanks but... I don't think my mom will love it- Jax whisper making Guinere's eyes see her with understanding-Yeah I understand the feeling- They says grabbing her hands and looking at them-You do?- She ask and her answer was a watery laugh-Yeah my parents... Weren't the most supportive- They dry her tears-When they discover that I cut my hair they were so mad at me- Guinere explain touching their own hair in the process-Its that moment that I have to tell them that I'm not just a girl... I'm partially one but in the same time I'm feeling like something different, I don't know- More tears appear meanwhile Jax put one of her hands in their back-I though that they will still love me, that I'm still their child but the only thing i have in response was so nasty insults to my persona-

With the other hand, the rabbit opts for putting in top of the hand of Guinere in confort-When the insults stop my mom grab my hands and with a soft voice she try to confort me!!! When she was the one who says that I'm confused about my own identity!!- now her voice sound so much more angry that before- I was so angry that I leave the house and I staid with my aunt, one week later Doggy appears in the door hugging me and supporting of who i am- Guinere smiles to the memory of her sister

With that in mind and understanding that they have something in common Jax it's ready-Guinere- She said making the cow stares at her-It will okay if I'm a girl- she asks nervous but they just smile fondly-If that it's how you feel then of course you are a girl- and with that confirmation she starts to cry making the other hug her, Jax respond the hug with a smile

When they move away Guinere still have one question-You tough of a name- they ask making the rabbit roll her eyes with a smile and after think for a while she stare at her
