Both scars insistence that he was picked up out of the courthouse parking lot to be mumbos lawyer 5 minutes before the case, and the fact that he had just woken up makes me imagine like... cscar sleeping in his car or something outside the courthouse. mumbo's massively panicking because he doesn't have an attorney and really he thought he'd be able to put it off and something will be figured out but of course that doesnt work, it never does. he spots scars car, and wakes him up. throws a spare tie and suit jacket at him to put on, and drags him into the courthouse. scar has 0 clue whats going on but its mumbo so he's going with it.
