My poor boy ❤️
On 29th October 2015 my beautiful 4 year old woke up and couldn't breathe properly he was working so hard for every breathe his little belly was going all the way in and out. He was taken in an ambulance with an oxygen mask and spent two days on a nebuliser before he could home. They told me at the time a virus had attacked his wind pipe and had left him with asthma ! And he would need inhalers every day... he could grow out of it or he could have to live with it all his life. I was told that there was a chance every October I could be in hospital with I had to take it month by month on how he would react. When he started back at school in September his breathing went down hill unable to do p.e for a couple of weeks having to have multiple puffs of his inhalers just to keep him going. His teacher is absolutely amazing and recognises when he isn't well and acts immediately. Well last week he started getting better so me and his teacher decided we would ease him back into p.e, and he did fine. Today I had to go into the school and he was doing p.e while I was walking up the school drive. He didn't see me. I sat in a office just by his classroom while I waited for a member of staff to come to me. I watched as the whole class walked by including the p.e teacher... then I seen him at the back absolutely in bits, reading his little heart ❤️ with his inhaler on his back. Without thinking I ran to him, hugging him,I asked him what was wrong, he told me he needed his inhaler and he didn't feel very well. His teacher came over and explained that he had told my breathless little boy he could have them when he was back in the classroom. My son took this as he couldn't have his inhaler and went into a major panic knowing he couldn't breath and what would happen if he didn't get his inhale 😢 I calmed him down I don't know how when all I wanted to do his rip the stupid mans head off his shoulders.hes ment to be a teacher. I told my boy to go into the classroom to sit down and relax have his inhalers and I was coming to check him in 5 mins when I had dealt with the other member of staff. 5 minutes later I checked he was fine sticking his thumb up at me smiling. Today has broke my heart, I hate what asthma does to my perfect baby. I keep seeing his little face crying just wanting the teacher to listen to him. I have made a complaint and the amazing classroom teacher who has my son is also having a word with the stupid p.e teacher !! Wish I could take it away for him.
