If my image descriptions and alt text or whatever else are ever insufficient, please do reach out. I do review my own posts very often and try to adjust where I can, but I err pretty often as well.
This is not to say that I wish to put the onus on anyone for whom image descriptions and alt text are a necessity or a helpful accommodation, but that I will never be offended by a correction or a suggestion.
I know how it feels to attempt to help someone by offering advice on accessibility, or ableism, or other forms of bigotry and getting overwhelming pushback or microaggressions in return. It's exhausting!
So I promise to always be open-minded and to never take this sorta criticism personally :)
Important: I've started color-coding and emboldening every other line on lists to help with readability. It helps me substantially. The color isn't as important as the contrast, I think.

in the past few weeks ive begun writing again. here's a poem i wrote yesterday:
i was once told a story
when i was as fragile
as an ant, marching,
alone,
along a path teeming with scents.
the story was sad and despondent,
though their tone never revealed that truth.
instead, i was charmed by their sweet voice,
musing about the past, present,
but never the future.
this story was the before, the current.
but never the .
because what was the point? they explained cheerily.
the present is the past, just as the past is the
present.
and just like an ant,
each step forward is just the past catching up with me.
i dont remember their name, the person who lavished me
with such a tale of loneliness and fear.
but does it really matter?
all i know is that
i continue walking

i spent a while making a 3D model of my splatoon oc Coralie in VRoid Studio to see how a splatoon character would look in the program and she turned out really cute so i'm posting her :-) everything except the meshes/templates (except for the hair i made those parts myself) were done by me!

Working on porting my newer updated look into 3D with VRoid Studio! So far so good
I'm changing my hair color slightly to be a more obvious blonde and not have as much of the red undertone as before, so that's why the coloring is SLIGHTLY off.
Because we shouldn't be quiet on the issues that matter the most. These are Free Streamer Assets, I don't own the rights to these symbols or flags, I believe in todays environment we have a duty to show our support however we can. I want to make more, but i also want to inspire other Vtubers to be out loud and proud. Yes we're entertainers but that does not take away our humanity. We deserve to cultivate our communities however we want to.
I believe in a future that benefits all of us and I'll fight for that future in anyway possible. Even if it means putting "stupid buttons" on my streams.

Right now, on Disney/Hulu and other streaming sites, queer show are disappearing. The first to go.
All the reasons given are bullshit, of course, because they could make these shows available for rental or download/purchase, but that isn't happening. Imagine throwing away a potential cash cow like that. Not even making them available on DVD.
Disappearing all of these shows isn't just eroding us culturally, socially and politically; it's also a form of crowd control, keeping us down, demoralized and making minorities like the queer community that much easier to demonize. If we're not visible, the fascists can say whatever they want.
This is why we have to be activists. We have to be screaming about this, making all the noise. We can't go quietly.
Demand the studios release this content, sell it, rent it, whatever. It's hard to see this as much different than banning or burning books: they can say its business, the effect is the same. Our cultural touchstones, art and soul, is being taken away.

Ryan Castellucci, who is nonbinary, has issued legal proceedings against the Gender Recognition Panel (GRP) and the Secretary of State for Justice arguing that the GRP breached its statutory duty to issue a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC) in terms which record Ryanâs acquired gender as nonbinary, and has instead decided to issue a GRC of uncertain legal effect. Ryan is also seeking a declaration that a GRC which records Ryanâs gender as ânot specifiedâ would mean that their gender is for all purposes nonbinary.
It turns out that the Gender Recognition Act in the UK doesn't actually specify that you have to be moving from male to female or from female to male, which means there is absolutely already room within the law to allow for nonbinary genders, and obviously the government should accommodate that.

The 10th annual international gender census, collecting information about the language we use to refer to ourselves and each other, is now open until 9th May 2023.

Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like weâre part of a huge and diverse community.
