He changed his heart into the generator it is, he outfitted his arms and legs with the ability to transmit and discharge concentrated bursts of electricity and maintain a static field powerful enough to induce madness. ( admittedly, however, the Entity has overcharged him since he entered the realm, allowing him to create much more power than previously )

Kytinn as a species are self-serving by nature; after all, being living hiveminds of intelligent insect colonies, they have to be to survive. However, this ingrained selfishness does not automatically equate to cruelty, not generally.

For most, this just means a vested interest in preserving or hoarding resources needed to survive, such as flower fields, lesser insect dens, territory, power, etc. Often to the point of creating mutually beneficial relationships with other non-Kytinn lifeforms to get better access or more access to resources needed in their hives.

However, some pervert or let this selfishness control them to the point of ruthless ambition or world-dominating aspirations, as is the case with the most notable member, D’vorah.

Anyways the world of mortal kombat is criminally underdeveloped; it’s like the creators have this idea that by adding more and explaining less, it flushes out the world. News flash, it don’t. It just makes the lore more confusing and non-user friendly.

An excellent example of this problem would be the saurians and what their deal is. Initially, they are introduced as nothing more than an extinct outworld species (that still has one living member). But in later games, they bring up that saurians left earth for a doomed realm during the Shinnok conflicts and that some still remain hidden in subterranean caves on earth. This, however, just raises so many more untouched on questions on the subject, like, why were the saurians initially on earth, why weren’t they just recreated post-conflict in the same way humans were, why hasn’t earth ever discovered any evidence of them, why was reptile able to recognize them in his ending ( given that they wouldn’t appear anywhere close to him given their environment, adaptations, behaviour, language, etc. ) None of these questions are ever answered or even touched upon by NRS and its just a crying shame, like, give us lore you cowards.
